How to know one's Totem

A human soul is a 5 dimensional seed that at its current status is asleep. It means that it holds all our history throughout every Death and rebirth, granting us immortality, though losing almost all memories from one life through another, yet treasuring all important experiences that slowly shapes us from infant souls to powerful beings.

 

Souls need a body to express themselves, when they are between reincarnations they sleep and dream, if life had been honourable, memories are crafted in an overall sensation of peace, while if life had been evil and filled with anguish and negativity, this dream is like a nightmare.

This engendered the wrong belief about heaven and hell, as they are not eternal, they are just the dream between two lives.

 

When the soul is ready to be reborn, she needs a GLUE that keeps her within the body and allows her to use the phisical brain as her router to move and control the body. When this GLUE, usually developed during gestation in the womb, doesn't form, we have spontaneous miscarriages, as the soul failed to bond with the boyd, thus the body appointed to be her vessel simply dies.

 

This GLUE is a spiritual substance, on the scientifical stance we should say is a quantistic field aligned to the human bio-electricity, and possesses some peculiar characteristics, that are a way to understand ourselves, like when we make tests to know our hormonal condition, or our DNA and its inherent individual characteristics.

 

This, through the ages, had been known as The Totem. To adfirm that people possess one or another, has very little to do with the very animal that gives the name to the totem, it is more like INTERPRETING A DREAM, it's symbolical, though it would be wrong to say that it is only a symbolism. Indeed, there are subtle but fitting similarities between the Totem, and the behaviour and/or overall appearence of the animal which gives its name to it.

 

To discover one's Totem, people must practice a psychological trip that is quite easy on the theorical stance, BUT is not that easy to be actually undertaken in the practice.

 

First of all, people must identify a period of their life when they are sure they are not too stressed, nor overwhelmed by daily life. The reason is that when we are stressed, afraid or angered, we tend to react by behavioural guidelines which we are used to, so to maximize chances to defeat the problem. It's not necessarily wrong, but it doesn't help to discover new ways.

 

After that, a bit of alcohol, or sleep deprivation, or herbs potions capable to relax are all helpful. The point is the the person must be relaxed and sleepy but NOT drowzee.

 

The person must lie utterly naked in his bed, in a comfortable position, and silence the mind, starting to slowly feel his body, a portion at a time, until he got so relaxed that imagination can run free.

A very important point is that this process must not be forced: you do not have to voluntarilly visualize these things. Just relax and think about them: if the mind doesn't comply, then it just means you'll need to try again another day. Getting depressed or offended won't do good. It is a slow conquest, humility and serenity are the key.

 

It can happen that toughts, fantasies, or repressed emotions could surface: nothing bad, take notice of them to reflect about them later, but don't get distracted, and focus once again on the process.

 

You have to visualize yourself floating above your own body, and the things must last for at least half a minute. If you can't keep your mind focused, subsequent passages would not come to you, so it's pointless to proceed. After some times trying, you will surely succede.

When you do, imagine yourself Flying at great speed and control over a fantastic natural setting, it's not important to imagine it, and indeed allow your unconscious to craft the features of Landing. If your mind really is ready to reveal your Totem, and one point you will feel a solemn sensation, and you will land in a little area devoid of vegetation, where all is dead and decayed. this is very important, as Death here is not to be interpreted as a negative thing, the end of life and the defeat of health.

Here, Death is only the indicator of the presence of an intense energy field that sterilizes inferior life-forms, like a powerful nuclear radiation would do. So Death is not a symbol of life's demise, the complete opposite, it means we are near something invisible but mighty.

Looking toward the center of the area, you will notice a big tree dead trunk, with only the initial portion emerging from the ground, like a former-huge tree that had been burned almost to the ground. It is dead but still firmly rooted, like it is only pretending to be dead, it is from Death but it still springs mightily into life.

 

There is a hole at its base, that seems to be a rabbit-hole of unfathomable depth. This point is very important because after a few times trying, people definitely manage to get this far, but the next step is for very, very few persons.

You have to stay before the trunk, waiting (and for no reasons at all come back to the awake state of mind!!!) for a cloaked, faceless black figure to show up and clearly point the hole to you. You are not summoning an entity, this is all infra-personal imagination, and actually because of this you do not fake its manifestation. That figure is a signal from your unconscious that you are ready to know the answer, if it doesn't show up, then it means that getting so deep within yourself would shake too much your personality, and you are not ready for it.

 

 

If the figure shows up, then crawl into the hole, and allow yourself to fall down in total blackness. It must be a gentle, not anxious fall, but it must carry along a sensation of depth, really profound depth. When you will arrive at the bottom, you will find yourself in a place which is utterly mystical.

It is a cave, an underground cave, but so huge it could shelter a metropolis with skyscrapers. There is also light, like a golden sunset light that doesn't come from any clearly visible source. Vegetation is wild, and huge stones are everywhere with uncomprehensible symbols shining of self-emitted light. It is impossibly beautiful, but also ominous and solemn, holy in every facet of the meaning of such word.

There are dinosaurs (I am serious, if you don't see them then you are no deep enough within yourself) and fantasy creatures like unicorns.

It must feels like it is the core of the infinite of existence, and you are invited.

As soon as you venture inside it, an animal will come to you, or you will notice it near you. Your mind will more or less clearly point you to it.

As soon as you are sure of what it is, try to awake. No subsequent ritualistic passages, just wake up, only do not do it too abruptly of you'll feel sick!

If the animal was a common one, then ok. If it was a dinosaur or a mythological creature, then it must be interpreted, but without any intention to sound arrogant, the "table of correspondencies" is too complicated to divulge, just tell me and I'll do for you!

 

To know one's Totem helps the person to understand portion of himself that were previously unknown or hard to grasp, as all Totems describes both the best hidden capabilities, AND the most hidden flaws of our personalities, the most sly as we are tricked into believing they are winning facets of our personality, maybe bcause they are crudely effective, while indeed they hold us back from true self-Mastering and thus, from happiness, which comes both from inner peace, and from an assertive attitude toward Others that can be deployed only when we emanate natural charisma as we feel complete and mighty.

The process you are describing, @spywareonya, sounds pretty much how psychics and those with an interest and belief in such things have written about how to encourage or invoke an out of body experience, by which their soul leaves their body and can range free.

It sounds like the right frame of relaxed mind is essential and I rarely get that. But one day when all is right I might give it a go.

Are you yourself able to know people's totems or can they only be discovered by the person himself or herself?

An OBE (Out of Body Experience) is something LIMITLESSLY harder

It is when your soul uses your brain as a router while roaming free

It is not augmented self-hypnosys, it is actually a phisical thing. People during OBE can fly in another room, see the number somebody is making with his fingers, get back in his body, and tell the numbers as he actually SAW it. It is not like seeing the future, or the past, or a secret of somebody touching it. You are ACTUALLY going around from your body in another place. And nobody really is able to do that. 99% of those who claim, were just making a lucid dream, that is cool enough but absolutely not the same thing. I had an OBE only once and was both incredible and awful, as you cannot think rationally, you feel like you are a nerve contantly hammered by perceptions, and your deep character overrun your rational thinking. You feel electric but also incredibly shaken like through a 150 mph wind. It also lasted only for a minute, no more, and I had a terrible fever subsequent days.

Not even the most powerful Witch can go that far. I could ask the Gods, They know, but usually They refuse to tell. Sometimes the Gods limit the amount of questions Witches poses to Them, as a way to avoid that Witches go around with an attitude of "knows best".

Do totems change or can you have more than one? I have undergone exercises similar to what you describe in the past, although not exactly as you described. There are two animals that have shown up for me on the mental voyages I have taken. It is interesting to me that it is almost always one of the two. Are they both my totem?

When somebody knows your totem, you are more vulnerable to people hashtagging you and even manipulating you on an occult stance

Do you have to do this yourself?

Maigh an I had this done at a Native Indian Resevation, quite some time ago. The old guy who did it went into some kind of trance, creepy to watch, smelly pipe smoke, chanting, the whole thing.

I came up as having a Timber Wolf as mine, and Maigh was supposedly a female Deer.

This cost us $20 each, but he was mumbling something strange and gave my $20 back, he looked a little shaken by the whole thing. (It just could have been part of the show, too)

The Deer Totem is among the strongest

But also the Wolf is great

The wolf means relying utterly on oneself, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel whenever wherever, and enduring misfortune with inner strenght, overcoming in the end

It means also that you attract great-yet-sensitive-thus-suffering people, and you are able to guide them along unthrodden paths, maybe unusual but effective

 

The Deer is sheer occult power. Almost possessed by itself, it's the will to live, and the energy at the purest state. it is not necessrily constantly optimistic, as (this is subtle) indeed as it is very strong, it dares to analize sad situations and even often got itself entagled in them, but never surrenders, out of sheer energetic intensity

it is also very creative and sexually overpowerful
