Hope you're all well, and holding up under the situation at the moment. This story is kinda meant to introduce a new 'arc' of Kaymala stories. Since I'm staying with my parents at the moment I don't always get much time to write, but I have a few places I'd like this arc to go. I'm interested to talk some more about what this kind of culture might look like when it's really cold out, and I've got some ideas for other bits of the island to see. I'd forgotten about this classic. Where I came from I always heard it as Zip, Willy and Wee. Even as a boy I found it "interesting" more than perhaps the other kids did. Is this a UK specific phenomenon then, or did those in other countries have similar childhood jokes?

Thanks for the comments everybody! I had a lot of fun writing this one. When I read in school I went on a lot of school trips, and had a lot of fantasies about scenes like this happening in the dorm rooms (of course nothing so exciting ever did). I was aiming for a similar atmosphere in some of the Kaymala hostel scenes, but I think it worked out better this time. I'm the original idea this was going to be a school trip, with perhaps one of the teachers walking in and catching them at some point, but I wasn't too comfortable writing about under 18s so I decided to age them up.

Hi everyone, long time without writing for me. I thought I would follow up on the characters I wrote about in my Holiday series (first chapter of that is here in case anybody want to read that first). I'll still try to write some Kaymala stuff too because I still have some ideas for that, but there's a few things I'm excited to do with these characters. I'm on a trip to Copenhagen at the moment, and given the hot weather thought I'd spend a day down on the sea front (it's kinda sea and kinda river at this point). Copenhagen has these wooden constructions along the front, a bit like piers, for people to sunbathe, and you can swim in the sea nearby. Being in town it's quite busy, and you don't get much more than the space you need to lie down in. There are a couple of (pretty gross) toilets there, but I had no intention of using these.
