Scot_Lover 1,876
Hi Is anyone concerned about what Russia is doing? I guess that most Brits on the East Coast will watch 11 warships and an aircraft carrier cruise through the Channel, even I would like to see it. The Aircraft carrier is partly de commissioned, but everything else is fully loaded. All of these will tie up in The Med, apparently to assist Syria. The other concern is that Russia has recalled all diplomats and families that are currently over seas. Add Trump into the mix and we have another cold war all over again. Link to post
F.W 5,734
Im not too concerned,i feel the EU is to blame, for pushing the frontiers of Europe,by trying to get Ukraine into the EU,will put Europes border about 500 miles from Moscow. The Russians are, understandably nervous at not having the E.European countries as a buffer zone.Putin is trying to just defend himself. Adyguy6970 877
I think Russia needs watching carefully but that's been the case for the last hundred years, despite the false dawn offered by the collapse of the USSR. Link to post

spurt20 100
I am very concerned about the developments with Russia. My vote in the parliamentary elections will be solely based on which politician supports more investment in defence. I'm not British by the way, I'm on mainland Europe - in a country where everyone sticks their head into the sand and pretends there is no more danger in the world. It's peacetime now, and even the Cold War is over, there will never be any war. It's peace for all eternity in Europe. If you believe everyone around me, that is. Link to post
