DoctorDoctor 1,391
I have had trouble with male pattern baldness and hair loss, so I took the plunge. I finally shaved my head bare. 😞 As far as genetics neither my father or grandfather on either side was bald (at least this bad), so I guess there is a first in every evolutionary change. 3 Link to post
Kirby23 954
I've been bald since my early 20s. I shaved my head at age 23ish and never went back. Now it's all I know. I don't really even remember what it was like to have hair. I don't think I've been to a barber since the 90s! I don't mind it at all. Most people who know me can't even imagine what I would look like with hair. I love my head. It's low-maintenance, saves time, money, etc. One less thing to worry about! 1 1 Link to post
Kathleen 171
My hubby shaves his head regularly due to balding. He's folicly challenged. Though his facial hair is definitely sexy 😍 1 Link to post
Alfresco 11,627
I am well on my way to joining you @DoctorDoctor. I am mid 50s and have lost a lot on the top. I keep what’s left short with a buzz cut. My frustration is that hair grows very happily just about everywhere else, but not where I want it on my head! I shouldn’t be surprised. My grandfather was completely bald by 60 and my dad had a large bald patch early on - although mine has gone quicker than his. Link to post
randomiser 151
I shaved my head once when I went on holiday to a really hot climate. My partner at the time hated it ... so I guess I'll wait for nature to push me back in that direction. Link to post
