I was thankful that my husband wasn't home, because I was beginning to run late. I decided I would just leave it for when we got back. Then I redressed, told the kids to get their shoes on we could run, and now that I'm back home I've gotta clean everything up before anyone noticed.

Thank you for the detailed account @Bacardi.  Sounds like a lot of fun and you would benefit from more practice, so hopefully will do it again.   Maybe try standing IN the tub for a few times until you get the technique sorted?
