Valentines gifts?

Hey all :),

 

obviously Valentines is coming up, me and my misses never go really to big for it but always get each other a wee something with a card. She normally get me like a crate of caramel eggs 😂.

 

just wondering if anyone had advice on what I could get or is the good old and trusty flowers and chocolate still the way to go ?

Probably a bit late for response now, so sorry that the site has failed you on this one.

We don't do valentine's in a big way because we consider it to be major commercialism and just another excuse for companies to make money out of people.   I do tend to get Mrs A some flowers and a card but fairly simple.  We usually go out for a meal, but we do it on a different day because the actual day is usually really busy in restaurants and we prefer to go when it is quiet.   We never have liked to conform with the rest of the population.

If she’s like me then chocolates are defo a good thing. I’m not one for cards or flowers though. 
 

My N got me a lovely bottle of Gin and a coffee cup that suits me right down to a tee 🙂 xx

Well after the day I’ve had at work they both may be handy. Can I drop E off with you so I can have large one ?

Thanks everyone :), we like to keep it fairly simple as well, got her a box of chocolates and some flowers and think she’s more than happy enough 

 

she normally gets me a box of caramel eggs which last me a good while at work 😂
