Jayne78 1,378
I love to go out running and have always leaked a little. Do any other ladies here have this issue? My answer is to wear black leggings which don't show the wetness. Recently it was got worse and my leggings can be completely soaked after a 3 mile run even if I try to empty my bladder before running. I have started to wear a pad but still leak. I am in a 10k fun run next weekend and very worried about embarrassing myself. Anyone any idea? A thicker pad is not really an option as it would rub and cause soreness. 3 Link to post

speedy3471 10,655
A side from an adult diaper iam not sure what to suggest. I would think a diaper would be very uncomfortable while running tho 2 Link to post

Anyone any idea? I don't have any ideas as to what can be done. Here is something that you can think about. Since the black leggings don't show the wetness, what happens if you start trying to Pee in them right from the start, Perhaps you can keep the volume down and have it drying right from the start. What does it take for you to run the 10k, somewhere around a couple of hours? Is that enough drying time to keep the leggings down to just kind of wet? Sorry, I just don't have any good thoughts on this subject. Link to post

I usually don't really have leaking issues while running unless I really have to pee but I've heard keagle exercises help a lot of people and so I thought I would recommend them. All you have to do is act like you are cutting off your stream midstream except hold that muscle and mind of clench it for as long as you can and slowly get stronger and stronger. I know that was a bad explanation I can try and explain it a different way if you want. I hope this helped! Link to post

I suggested that she get some duotone Ben-Wa-Balls as they were light balls with a heavy smaller ball inside. She said that they caused orgasms. Link to post
Cuckoo42 1,274
AS someone who has experience of wearing incontinence pads (owing to nerve injury in my lower back as a result of a slipped disc), i would suggest you wear a thick pad underneath tracksuit bottoms, or trackie shorts. They will help to disguise the shape of the pants, and if you wear black ones they will help to hide any leakage. I have found that provided i put additional intensive moisturiser around the groin and inner thighs, the pads dont disintegrate too fast, and the chafing can be managed. I used to do a job walking around a very hot warehouse for 8 hours, and i used to find the pads would start to disintegrate after about 4 hrs. However, i do believe there are a style of incontinent pants that are more streamlined, look like spanx or something. You should have a lookee on specialist incontinence websites or Amazon, as it has a huge range. 1 Link to post

Finished my run in just under 55 minutes though probs took a couple of minutes to start. I was wet by the end but not soaked and not obvious. Had to stop and squat after 4km behind a skip. Not much cover but had no choice. 2 1 Link to post
bpb 788
I had not thought of the option that you could stop and Pee along the way. Of course that adds time to the run. Do you have a placement number in your class? Like 1st, middle, last? Thanks for the information given. Edited August 20, 2019 by bpb Link to post
DivaQC 223
No pee leak for me, maybe if I pee and go running again, sometime it can have drops. Sorry, wrong place, why i have green circle at my profile picture? Edited August 20, 2019 by DivaQC Link to post
