One detail we both noticed however is that in this town your character moves into, no one has a bathroom. Hello again! Apologies that it's been ages since I've posted. Life has been somewhat frantic and kept me distracted for a while. Regardless this is part 3 of the hiking trip! On day 3 when we woke up we got camp packed up as early as we could, as mentioned we didn't make our goal in distance the day before so we had an extra five kilometres to catch up on. A few years ago I went on a hiking trio with nine other people. We went on a trail that in total takes at least eight days to travel but most do it in ten, we did so in eight. The trail itself was thick, part of it was overgrown, deep in the wildrrness and of course far away from any plumbing. That actually makes a lot of sense to me, just the fact that literally anyone can walk past while you're peeing off in a bush just out of sight. I live in a particularly green part of Canada and sometimes when walking a bike path or a hiking trail you'll get lucky and be walking and literally get close enough to hear a girl peeing in a bush or stream before you see them. Most women I've walked in on, so to speak, usually laugh and apologize, not that I ever feel they need to 😉

I don't think many places in the house were safe when I was home alone. I peed the bathroom sink and shower countless times, the kitchen sink every so often. For the holidays this year my partner and I went to go and visit some family up in northern British Columbia to whoever knows where that is. We don't usually get much snow where I live but there was still a decent amount in the town we were staying in and we stayed in an air b&b cabin which was incredibly warming with the gentle snow outside.
