  1. Woke up horny this morning so I decided to make the most of it and put on my nice tight running gear and edged for a while before going for a run. When I got back, I made myself a large coffee and kept my running tights on and edged again until the coffee worked it's magic and let myself go and soaked myself. It was great. I love wetting tight lycra.

Not sure whether this should be a Geeky Project, a What Song Are You Listening To - but it's making me smile, so here it is.

A few years ago I got a turntable which ended up in my study.  What were decent, at the time, bookshelf speakers and a rather quirky Fatman amp.

All was sweet, apart from the unfathomable earthing issue - where it'd play for a while and then lose one channel. Or hum.  Unplug one of the phono cables and it'd be fine again.  I'd swapped for a better phono input stage, but no difference.

Anyway - over Christmas I decided to sort it out, and finally found the issue.  A broken ground on one channel at the cartridge, which was getting an earth through the preamp, sort of.  Anyway that's now permanently fixed.  The next issue was a huge amount of rumble picked up through the cartridge.  First suspicion (in my flawed logic) were the turntable bearings, so off with the platter and on with a little bit of light oil.  But alas that wasn't the fault.

Today's flash of inspiration -  maybe it should have been obvious(?) the tonearm counterweight had obviously been knocked and the noise I was hearing was the pickup being forced down into the groove.  So that's now back where it should be and all is sweet.

First album on - Queen, The Works.

My daughter brought a small record player today so we went vinyl shopping so she has something to play and yep, I just had to get this album for her. Luckily she likes it

I guess that's why I'm no longer competing.

I'm finding it much more enjoyable now introducing woman to long distance cycling.

    Nice.

I was never faster enough to race, just do it for pleasure.

Peter Sega said the new younger riders ignore the old unwritten rules of cycling and don't always follow tradition. They have teams mates push them along while they pee instead of stopping.

Earlier I pulled into a McDonald’s and noticed a car all by itself with a guy standing near it but he was facing the woods. At first I couldn’t tell if his hands were in his pockets or if he was getting ready to take a leak but then I saw the stream lol

Nice. Hope you enjoyed the view

Hoping not in a bad way @LovesToWet  - hopefully no damage to either you or bike.

All good thanks. It was just a silly tumble rather than a crash and no cars were involved this time
