I think that many games, and films are perhaps more violent, gory or explicit than they need to be.

DOOM was violent, but also not that Hi-Res,modern games allow you to explode heads in slow motion etc.

It could be that an obsession with video games breeds a violent personality. It must de-sensitive the mind of the weak minded,to want to act out the fantasy.

    @F.W

Could you please do me a favour?  I'd appreciate it so much if you'd hit the space bar after a comma.  Your posts would be so much easier to read and it's the correct way to type.  Thanks!

  2. I agree.  There is nothing wrong with married women having male friends or vice versa.  I dated a woman in the late 1990's whose best friend was a guy.  But, he was a "buddy."  What @Blackinksoul30 is seeking is a much more emotional relationship.  That intimacy should be reserved only for one's spouse.

Uh, I have some bad news for you.  You're not a Cancer.  You're actually a Gemini.  I studied Astronomy in college.  Astrology is superstition with no basis in science.  But, for those who choose to believe, read the following:

"A staggering 98% of people in the UK know the answer to this question. But did you know around 86% of us were actually born under a different constellation to our star sign?

The dates of the ‘star signs’ were fixed, over 2,000 years ago, when the zodiac was first devised. Then, they corresponded to the constellation of stars that appeared behind the Sun on the day you were born. But an astronomical phenomenon, known as precession, means that the constellations have drifted since then. So which stars were you actually born under?"

Cancer is 21 July to August 10.  LMAO!

Besides, how does when we're born determine our traits?  No one has ever been able to explain that part to me.

Johnson in his younger university days was also a member of the infamous Bullingdon club, basically a bunch of rich kids going around getting drunk and wilfully trashing and vandalising pubs, clubs and restaurants for fun in the knowledge that their rich parents will pay whatever it takes to fix things.

One of their charming initiation rituals involves burning a £50 note in front of a homeless person.

Is this the kind of absolute cunt we want running the country? Never in my name.

It seems that he and Trump were cut from the same cloth.

  6. I'm watching the Late Late Show with James Corden from London right now.  The show is based in Los Angeles, but Corden is a Brit.  Every year they do a week of shows from London.

Tonight, he has this girl group called Little Mix on.  I thought I was watching an act from the USA!  England produced all of the best rock and pop bands in history!  They set the trends.  Now it seems that they're following us.  I don't get it.  To me, the best USA bands are the Doors and the Beach Boys.  That's about it.  England has beat us in music for ages.   Ha ha!  It's true.

During the show, Corden said that Boris Johnson is likely to be the next Prime Minister.  When he said that, the entire theatre booed loudly!  Is this true?  Is Boris going to be the next PM?   Just my opinion, but he seems like a nutter.  An English version of Trump.  They both have hideous hair.  And, he was born in the same city...New York.  Is this an omen?  LOL!

What I'm getting at is...what the hell is going on in England?  My grandparents were from there and it makes me sad to see this.  It really does.

Can anyone offer comments?  Thanks so much.

  7. Forgive me, @Blackinksoul30 , but I'll give you an honest response.

Why are you seeking male friendship online?  Why are you engaging in intimate conversations with men online?  Call me old-fashioned, but that is the role a husband should fill.  When I was married, I would have been quite concerned if my wife was looking for serious friendships with men outside of our marriage.  It's just not right.  That's just my opinion.  It can only lead to more problems.

Have you no female friends?  If you do, those are who should be confiding in.  If not, perhaps you should try to meet some.  I know it can be difficult to make friends.  I've had a problem making male friends all of my life.

Lastly, perhaps you'd benefit from some sort of therapy.  To be honest, I'm not a big fan of it, but it does help some people.  Maybe even you should get couples counseling.  There are free or low-cost places out there where you can get help.  A few phone calls should lead to some options.

You obviously have problems with your feelings of self-worth.  I don't know how to help you with that.  This is why I suggest professional help.  You won't get it here at Pee Fans.  I can promise you that.  That goes for any other site.  Look to yourself, not online.

Please don't be offended by my words.  I'm only trying to help, I assure you.

You know what pisses me off?

Those poor people who are stupid enough to blame those even poorer than themselves for all their problems instead of the rich dudes actually in charge. They often let the latter tell them what to think via their propaganda sheets, aka tabloid newspapers.

I don't get the stupidity involved in blaming the powerless guy at the bottom instead of the powerful one at the top. Do they not realise that the fact he is rich and powerful, and they are poor, might well be because they believe too much of his self-serving shite?

I won't add a word.  You said it all.  Well done!

I wrote a paper in college on the Great Flood.  What scientists believe is that Mesopotamia, the valley between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in Iraq, flooded.  To those living in that area, it would have seemed as though the whole world was flooded.  Most people in that area rarely ventured more than a few miles from their village.

But, a flood where the whole world was flooded never occurred except when earth was a new planet.  A scientist I know asked, "If that really happened, what happened to the water?"  LOL!  Good point.

But, if you ask the fundamentalists, they'll tell you that the earth is only 6,000 years old and that people lived at the same time as the dinosaurs and that all were killed in the Great Flood.  This is stupidity at its worst.

Yes, you are correct.  There can be a tiny kernel of truth in some ancient folklore.  But, most of it is pure myth.

You have to watch the original uncensored version which has two explicit pee scenes. One early on when Drusilla dies and Caligula goes haywire and wanders around the market place aimlessly. There he is shown passing a group of ladies squatted peeing and there is a full frontal as well as couple of rear end shown. The other one is more explicit where the beautiful Anneka Di Lorenzo is shown up close pissing on the dead body of a dead man. Two masterful scene depicted well by Tinto Brass.

I had the original uncut film.  I had simply forgotten that there were two pee scenes.  It's been many years since I watched Caligula.  Also, I failed to mention that the film stars Helen Mirren and John Gielgud as well as Peter O'Toole and Malcolm McDowell.  With a cast like that, no remake could match the original.

  11. This thread is for those things that piss you off, right?  I have one.  It's those who refuse to accept the FACT that global warming is REAL and that MAN HAS CAUSED MOST OF IT!  To deny this is pure stupidity, not just ignorance.  The evidence is overwhelming!

In the not-too-distant future we will be forced to use less power.  Only when governments get off of their greedy, stupid butts will things change.  Fossil fuels must be totally eliminated.  For those who think it's not possible to replace our current fuels with alternative sources, think about this.  Once upon a time, we rode horses and had no indoor plumbing.  Radio, TV, and microwave ovens were pipe dreams.  It will be the same with energy.  Speaking of which, even the energy companies accept this fact and are working hard to go to renewable forms of energy.  The state of Texas, known for oil, has invested $42 billion in wind power alone!

Check out this link:  USA States Ranked for Wind Power

The scientific community has determined that these are the facts.  Only nutters on the fringe disagree.

    Sleep well...

    Hi,

has any seen the movie Caligula? Love that movie and was thinking I would of loved to have a modern remake where there is more piss scenes as back then they didn’t have toilets, shaven pussys and more piss scenes would be a great movie in my opinion haha

Caligula is a classic.  I wouldn't want a remake of it.  I hate remakes.  They are never as good as the original.  Never.  Besides, you cannot top Malcolm McDowell and Peter O'Toole.  As I recall, there is only one brief pee scene in it.

Here's a funny story about Caligula.  I had the totally uncut X-rated version of it on VHS tape back in the day.  I loaned it to my co-worker and warned him about how hardcore it was.  He put it on while his wife's parents were over on Mother's Day!  LMAO!!!  He did it on purpose.  🤣

Then, years later, at another job, I told a female co-worker about it.  She really wanted to see it.  Again, I loaned it to her for the weekend.  She brought it back on Monday and told me that her husband said, "The guy who loaned you that movie is one sick motherfucker!"  LMAO!

Both are true stories.  I can't stop laughing as I type now.  Ha ha!  Good times, ah, yes...

You could bleed the rich dry and it wouldn't make a dent in the national debt or address the governments massive wasting. With the way things are now, taxing the rich and corporations more will cause them to leave to different countries, or simply decrease their domestic investment, which leads to higher unemployment, reduced wages and reduced tax revenue for the government. It may seem like they don't contribute fairly but they invest in the growth and expansion of businesses and leads to economies of scale and massive job creation for society. It's simple, if they tax you more, you spend less because your money is weaker. Same with the rich. And once enough people spend less, businesses go under and people get laid off.

Spoken like a true ultra conservative.  You are wrong!  If they go offshore, you tax them more.  What are they going to do?  LOL!  Your argument is absurd to anyone who truly understands economics.  People and companies have money stored abroad in amounts that would blow your mind!  Apple is just one example of a corporation that has taken advantage of our system.  The list is endless.

It's been proven time and time again that when a company makes huge profits, they DO NOT invest in the employees, communities, etc., under our current system.  It does not create more jobs in the long run.  They simply buy more stock, issue more bonuses to executives, and outsource even more in foreign countries.  Where have you been?   This is common knowledge.

I see that this chat is pointless.  I won't reply anymore.

Pretty much the same in the USA. Out of control welfare and shrinking tax base, via record low native birth rates to sustain it. Our insane 22 trillion debt is mostly domestic, so we waste on ourselves, print and borrow, rinse and repeat and the younger generations are left with the bill, crushing college debt, pension obligations, health care costs, broken schools, all caused by the government. But at the end of the day, the government is the reflection of the people. We as the people allow this calamity to continue by voting for these corrupted politicians, while we worry more about the Kardashians and social media.

Many, if not most, of our problems are due to the rich people and corporate America getting off way too easy!  People under $35,000/year should pay zero federal income tax.  If the rich and corporations paid their share, we'd be okay.  People much smarter than myself have said this many times, including Warren Buffet.  Tax rates for the wealthy were higher in the 1950's when Eisenhower was president!  That was the most prosperous decade in the history of the USA!  Look it up if you have any doubts.  It was.

Why do you think Trump refuses to release his tax returns?  Could it be because Americans would be shocked by how little, if any, tax he paid?  Nah, that couldn't possibly be it.  🤣

I cannot speak for the USA, but here in the UK they tripled university tuition fees, slashed welfare entitlements to the under 25s, even those in work, legislated much lower minimum rates of pay for younger people, pursued housing policies that have priced them out of the housing market and trapped them either paying extortionate rents or stuck with their parents into their 30s. The jobs available to them are increasingly poor in terms and conditions with successive governments encouraging that in the name of "flexibility". Yet they are paying through the nose in taxes to fund freebies for pensioners which they know are not likely to be available by the time they get there. Welfare sanctions deployed in arbitrary, cruel, and draconian ways are also mainly targeted at the young. These have been encouraged and empowered by governments.

And young adults today are the first generation since the war expected to go through life being worse off than their parents.

Man, you sure know how to make a point!  I'm almost sorry I asked.  I don't know what to say except that I'd want you for my lawyer!  LOL!  I was unaware of conditions there.  It does seem like a dire situation for the young people of the UK.  So sorry.

Having said that, I still believe technology is to blame, in large part, for the mental issues and behavior of our youth.  I fail to see how the government affects those psychological factors.  But, yes, you are correct on all of your points mentioned.  Good thesis, Steve!

Politicians and governments have done far more to shaft the young than technology ever has.

I'll be the first to say that schools are inferior to what they were 50 years ago.  So are the teachers.  So, I suppose one could place blame on the government for that.  This is true here in the USA.  I can't speak for other nations.  But, other than that, how has the government shafted the youth?  I fail to see that.

I think parents are most to blame.  It all starts at home!  It's up to parents to see that their children are learning social skills, etc., and I think they do a terrible job.  Single parent families don't help either.  A child needs both a mom and dad.

Lastly, if I had a child growing up now, he/she would have a basic flip phone with no internet on it.  And the computer at home would have protective software to filter all that the child sees.  But, parents now buy their kids smartphones when they're still toddlers.  To me, that's insane!
