Female Trough Urinals

I was listening to a podcast this morning and the guest brought up a (now condemned) dive bar that she use to frequent called Hell, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She described it as a bar where you "piss in troughs in both the mens' and the ladies' rooms". I gotta know, has anyone on here encountered a place like this?

At festivals I’ve seen women squat over a long narrow concrete drain. Basically if you peed downslope and squatted you could play with lots of piss running right under your butt. I never saw anyone play with the piss-streams but I’m sure someone must have done it.

That's an interesting place for a bar like that. I used to live close to Chapel Hill and from what I saw of the city/town everything was quite "cute". The only bar I was ever in there was Top Of The Hill or TOPO, which was certainly NOT a dive.

One of them was Roskilde Festival.

There used to be a long concrete drain, probably around 100 meters or even more, along the fence that separates the festival area from the camping area. I read somewhere that it was the longest urinal in the world. Today the drain doesn't exist anymore, possibly for sanitary reasons - I don't know.

At that time, there were fewer toilets, and they were much dirtier than today. The smell was disgusting and the queues were long. Many people, men and women, after a quick look to the toilets queue, just did it in the trough, beside people queuing. At some times, there were even people waiting in line to use the drain behind the toilets. Farther from the toilets, people just went to the trough, without hesitation. Men usually faced the fence and aimed into the drain, women squatted in front of the trough, back to the fence, or with one feet on each side of the trough.

Nobody cared about beeing seen peeing. Although there are a few pics online, it was before women started to worry about being filmed peeing at the festival.
