Popular Post Haley 104
I was a little absent from the site because of shyness but today I'm going to tell you my mini experiment. First of all sorry English is not my native language. When I was younger, a girl in elementary school told me that she had peed blue. Obviously this stayed in my head for years until now as an adult I decided to do it too. I went to a store bought edible blue food coloring. I drank a lot of blue water. Now I wait for the bladder to work. I'll tell you the result in the future 😃 4 1 Link to post

Popular Post Haley 104
Hello, my name is Haley. First of all my english is pretty bad so i'm sorry. For those who haven't read part 1 here's a summary: When I was a child a girl in elementary school told me that she peed blue.I kept this in my mind. Now that I'm an adult I've decided that I'm going to pee blue too. In the last post I said that I had bought food coloring to take the test so here is the result: Unfortunately I urinated several times but none of them was blue =( . The good side of the story is that I peed a lot that day. But I won't give up I'm looking for a specific dye that my girlfriend said might work. I was already forgetting another good thing and that my girlfriend is also going to pee blue with me =)). I'm going after another tincture, in the future I'll bring news. Thanks for reading =). 1 4 Link to post
Alfresco 11,629
Hi Haley, Firstly your English is far better than my attempt at any other language, so I wouldn't worry too much. Interesting experiment. Maybe you need to consume a very large amount of the die and not a lot else to make it concentrated in your pee? I don't know, but just seems that it might be the logical way to improve the results. Also, for future reference, it might be better to put follow up posts like the above on the same thread as the original comment so that it keeps the flow together and people can easily read the whole story. Good luck with trying other avenues to achieve blue pee. 1 Link to post

DoctorDoctor 1,391
I have never heard of blue urine, but I know there is a drug for bladder infections that turns urine bright orange. And the orange urine stains clothing orange. 1 Link to post

On the other hand, if I eat a blue-tinted ice cream or licorice jelly beans, my poo will indeed be blue. Very Smurfy. Consuming beats will change the color of your pee. 1 Link to post
Peeonallthethings 25
I'm usually just a lurker but I know the answer to this actually. The dye that turns your pee blue is actually a medical dye. It is called methylphenidate blue (methyline blue for short.) It can be dangerous to take it often or take too much at once but one normal dose won't do any harm. I know a story about some guys who were rude to some ladies in a neighboring dorm and so the ladies pranked them by making a huge chocolate cake laced with methyline blue and laxatives. I'm told the blue is actually pretty persistent so when the guys freaked out and sprayed the bathroom paint it stained it instantly and there were blue streaks all over, and it was so strong it came through when they tried to paint over it. 1 1 Link to post
