Thirsty and desperation

Why is it that I get thirsty when I'm desperate to pee but can't find anywhere to go.  I find this usually happens when I'm stuck in traffic. 

Does this happen to anyone 1 else

Can't say I have noticed myself, but I will think about it from now on and see if the same thing happens for me

This happens to me but I think it's more of a Pavlovian effect. It's like the fuller I get the more turned on I get, therefore I get thirsty to add to the feeling. It's a very interesting thought process.

I'm 100% the same with this. There is something so exciting about gulping down a nice big glass of water when your bladder is already at it's limits.

I remember hanging out with a girl a long time ago. We were in the car on a 2 hour drive home. She hated using public toilets and was already desperate to pee. She sat there legs tigthly pressed together, but didn't stop drinking her big bottle of water! I loved every minute of that journey. Specially when we finally stopped and she dived out the car and ran into her house!
