Hi

Just a question on hotel stays.

Have you ever run into a strange rule when staying at a hotel?

I get hit with "3 people are not allowed in a single room" quite a lot, single room here is one bed only, double, queen or king size bed, but still classed as a single room, get me?

Some times we have paid for a room as a couple, then smuggled the 3rd person in later, makes you feel like you're a crook or something, other times we just book a double, and don't use the other bed.

Last week in Queensland I was pleasantly surprised, asked for a single room, 3 people staying, and the reception girl never blinked, just gave us Room 502 with a king size bed. Got a sexy smile when my 2 girls came in, she watched all 3 of us leave.

Anyway, anyone else have some strange hotel rule they've run into?

Don't piss on the carpet!

I have never actually seen a hotel state that as a rule. They might also (but again I have never seen it actually stated) have a rule "Do not piss in the bed" - but that is more likely to broken by accident than people doing it deliberately.
