MissAutumn 3,224
Hi all! I'm sure someone on here can help me, right? I am trying to enter my bank info on MyDirtyHobby (a German site) so I can finally get paid the money we've earned from video sales on there. We've been on there for years and my husband has tried numerous times to figure it out, but gave up, so I thought I'd ask you all. We were using our earned credits to buy videos, but we don't buy much these days and would love to cash our credits out. Any idea what info we need here? We have Wells Fargo in the U.S. As I understand it, the U.S. doesn't support iban, so I'm assuming we have to go the swift/bic route? We've tried putting in my name under bank account holder and I found a code for Wells Fargo's swift, but MDH says my info is incorrect. We've tried putting our account # with our name. I'm at a loss at this point! Any thoughts? Thanks to anyone who knows a bit about this kind of thing! Whoever can help me fix this, I'll send you any one of our videos as a thank you! (if you have them all already, I'll send you a new one sometime soon!) Edited February 6, 2019 by AutumnPeach Link to post
steve25805 126,021
I wish I could help but sadly do not have the nous. Perhaps another member who sells stuff there can help? Do they not respond to your contact attempts? Link to post
WantonLee 861
I have no idea, but it seems that American Banks ignore the IBAN-System at this point - there are online-calculators, but none of them have the US as a choice. So you will have to go with Swift and BIC. I have no idea how this works, though. A quick google-search brought up this two sites: https://www.englishforum.ch/finance-banking-taxation/45639-transfer-us-without-iban.html https://money.stackexchange.com/questions/98791/is-there-an-iban-for-us-banks If those two threads do not help you, maybe the staff at mydirtyhobby can help you... if they answer mails, that is. Good luck! Link to post
