  1. Don't think it would really qualify as either.  Big fan of wetting (and re-wetting), so I had to chose between those two options I'd go with "heaven".   As to why I wouldn't simply view it as heaven, for me wetting is about being able to choose to pee in my pants; taking away the choice takes away the fun...

Before I realised this was a fetish I remember a couple of naughty episodes in the school library. I’d have been 11 or so. We used to get unsupervised library time as a reward so we could change our reading book and spend time on free reading. We didn’t have a school librarian, it was just a large library, quite dark with a carpeted floor and cushioned chairs. On one occasion I selected a chair hidden from sight, and upon checking I was alone I pulled my knickers down and dress up and pissed into the chair. On another occasion I removed my knickers and sat cross-legged on the floor with my dress around me rather than under me and I pissed onto the carpet. I think the chair was discovered later that day, but it was assumed a younger child had wet themselves.

    That is seriously impressive.

  3. Feel like I have to preface this by saying that my interest in pee / peeing is more of a hobby than a fetish.

I can't say that there is any one point or event which was the start of my interest in pee.  I do believe that a series of different things / events/ rules from my youth did shape my interest in pee though.  When I was young my family had a basic rule that once you get in bed you didn't get out of bed until the next morning; which meant on the occasions when I had to pee in the middle of the night I sort of had to wet the bed...likely the reason I'm not really a fan of bed wetting now.  "Pee your pants' was a fairly common dare in a game I played as a kid; the fact that pants wetting was something I could get in trouble for made it "fun", the fact that it felt good to be wearing wet pants made it something I wanted to do...pants wetting is something I still do and enjoy.  As to peeing in "unusual" places (sink, washing machine, shower, trashcan, etc), I did do most of those things at least once in my youth (usually as a dare from a friend)...now I view those peeing in those places as a "variety is the spice of life" kind of way.  Peeing outside has really always been a "why not" sort of thing to me; fun because it isn't a toilet or urinal, but not something to make a big deal out of.

  4. For me the answer to those questions isn't really as simple as "yes" or "no", so the answers will be a little complicated / long.

BED.  Before starting kindergarten (when I was 5) the general rule (enforced by parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles) was that after going to bed I was to stay in bed until getting up the next morning: which basically meant if I had to pee after going to bed, I was allowed to pee in bed; however (if I wasn't wearing a diaper, which I did sometimes wear to bed at that age) I did hear about it.  After that, I was allowed / encouraged to get out of bed to go to / use the bathroom if I felt like I had to go in the middle of the night at all of those people's homes except at my mother's parents' house (the door to the one and only bathroom in their house was literally right next to the top of the steps), where the "stay in bed rule" continued until I was 8.

FLOOR.  There were certain places where all (parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles) allowed peeing on the floor.  At my parents' house I was allowed to pee on the floor in the garage; there wasn't any specific point at which I was no longer allowed to do that, but I really didn't do it all the much.  At my mother's parents' house I was allowed to pee on the floor in the basement until I was about 7, again I didn't really do it all the much.  At my father's parents' house I was allowed to pee on the floor in the garage and in the basement, there wasn't really an end date on being allowed to do that, possibly because of how infrequently I peed in those places.  At houses belonging to aunts and uncles it was pretty much not allowed.

PANTS.  I pretty much was never allowed to pee in my pants whenever I wanted.  However, I distinctly remember two separate occasions when while in a crowded public place with no bathrooms I had to pee (I think I was 4 both times) where my parents told me to "just pee in your pants".  Once (at a holiday: lots of people there) in my mother's parents' house I had to pee and the bathroom was occupied, and my grandmother told me to pee in my pants.  Growing up there was this game I played with my friends which was a cross between duck-duck-goose and truth-or-dare; "pee your pants" was a fairly common dare...playing outside / away from adults generally the pants dried enough that I didn't get in trouble for it.

OUTSIDE.  In this case I'm talking about peeing on / in trees, bushes, ground, etc (not in pants).  Pretty much that was allowed by all adult family members at all ages, but the basic rule was use a tree, bush, etc.

I'm interested in the various kinds of toilets in public spaces that we don't seem to have in the USA.

There are some countries that have semi-public urinals, pissoirs I think they're called. Is that just a French thing, or are they elsewhere, too?

I also recall reading about an "art toilet" which if memory serves is in London. It has one-way glass and is a large glass booth in a public place that appears to be mirrors from the outside. Anyone use it? Is it still around?

Finally, I just discovered this intriguing bathroom fixture that I suppose you could install in any room of a building with the appropriate plumbing hook-up. There door appear to close into a translucent cylinder. Fascinating, and somewhat exhibitionistic.

First time I've ever seen this particular fixture.  From the looks of it, I can all but guarantee it is expensive
