For those who don't drink alcohol, there is a beer solution: Athletic Brewing.  All their products are non-alcoholic, but other than not containing alcohol, all of the other properties of beer are there...including different styles.

While my interests in peeing might be a bit different than yours (I tend to lean more towards wetting, but that is neither here nor there), I also did (and sometimes still do) feel a bit embarrassed by it.  Generally I have been much less troubled by my own interests, than by fear of others learning of my interests and putting some sort of negative label to me.  Ultimately, pretty much all interests which are outside of the mainstream within a given society can (and likely will) result in the sort of anxieties we feel.

No, you're not weirder than most.

This particular site seems to lean more towards the "peeing in unusual places" side of the fetish.  Some years back I stumbled across and posted in a (text only) forum (which sadly no longer exists) which was roughly 40% bedwetting, 30% pants wetting, 20% re-wetting, and only 10% peeing in unusual places.

Can't say that I exactly like peeing into cups, but yes I have done it a number of times.  As for why; well it is a place which isn't a toilet...which makes it at least a little bit fun.

Okay, I can answer the sailing / boat question.  Larger sailboats (from about 25 feet) generally do have toilets.  The toilets in these large but not enormous sailboats tend to be decidedly complicated devices which are a pain in the ass to flush, additionally due to the boat rolling with the surf, it is all but impossible to pee in them while standing; so most people pee over the side.  

Technically a yacht is anything 40 feet or large.  

If, however, we are talking about  what i would describe as a "full blown yacht" (think 60 feet or large) with a full interior and all the associated plumbing, then we begin to see more normal toilets...

Other activities which could / would have similar issues: long distance running or cycling, auto racing, scuba diving, hiking, mountain climbing...

Creating reasons to wet is an intriguing idea.  Generally I don't try to rationalize wetting, I simply do it.  The times when I have rationalized it are pretty much always when I'm outdoors and dirty (planting or weeding in the garden, cutting the grass, cutting or splitting firewood, etc) and the reason is always the same: not wanting to track dirt into the house.

So allow me to preface this by saying that I have been an on-and-off pants wetter (by choice) for most of my life; I have also never used my hands while wetting.  There was a period which lasted for a few years during which I did no wetting; so I'll use my experiences subsequent to that period.  It did take some effort to regain my wetting abilities. 

I started by standing in the shower (for the drain and privacy; obviously with pants on, water not running) closed my eyes and tried to relax my bladder.  I'd be lying if I said that first wetting didn't take a while.  Did the same thing several times per week for a couple months and was able to get to the point where I can wet (while standing) a second or two after deciding I want to with little to no effort...while I am doing other things. 

Wetting while sitting: didn't really get back into this until wetting while standing became easy (again); found it more difficult to do in general, and took longer to get in to the swing of things there.  I suspect that I have found wetting while sitting to be more challenging / requires more effort to be a function of the fact that, as a male, most of my peeing is done standing up...

I've never tried to wet on purpose while laying down.

To your question about loosing control completely: with the exception of a few occasions (during which I was either drunk or half asleep) I have been able to retain complete control. 

There are so many things I'd want to do, far more than I'd be able to do in a single weekend.  Ultimately, I probably wouldn't actually do anything because I'd end up spending the whole time trying to decide what to do.

Can't say I've ever seen that particular show, or anything similar on TV proper (i.e. shows); but I have seen movies with similar-ish scenes on TV

If / when swimming, I pee in the pool.  For other forms of exercise, I generally pee when showering after.

I really need to preface this by saying that my interest in pee is more of a hobby (an activity which I enjoy in the way some people enjoy fishing) than a fetish (generally seen to mean " something unusual which generates sexual arousal").

While I've never specifically told anyone that have interest in pee (related activities), I have definitely hinted at it over the years with more than a few people.  As far as I'm aware none of them really viewed the things I've said as indicative of interest.  As to why I haven't specifically told anyone about my interest in pee: it is something which would seem to be socially unacceptable enough that I could see public knowledge of it potentially creating personal and professional difficulties...life is difficult enough, no reason to make it more so.  Will I ever tell someone: probably, really more a question of who and when.
