Real pee sighting in Newcastle in the news

just stumbled across this, which is a news report of a woman peeing in broad daylight in Newcastle. includes a photo which you can see her trying to pee in the river but her stream is hitting the floor instead.

It has captured the attention of the media definitely, been reported in several places including national paper websites. Here are a few examples and it is interesting to see that different papers have different takes on it. What I find more surprising than the actual peeing is the fact that it has spread so far in the news! Presumably this is down to how blatantly public the situation is when there are bound to be plenty of facilities around the area. I know the Quayside in Newcastle and it is a busy area with plenty of pubs, clubs, bars, etc., where she could have found a loo. Personally, I love it and I wish more girls were so relaxed about peeing.

I like the fact that the Huffington Post picks up on comments from other girls from Newcastle:
