Within the forum, there are different 'sections' - for example this section is General Chat.   And then there are many 'threads' within each section, like for example this thread that you've created.   And a thread consists of one or more 'posts'.

Now if you take one of the other threads, for example a thread I created a while ago:  https://peefans.com/topic/12090-who’s-this-freak-go-on-ask/

You'll see that's dated April 2019, so is pretty old as a thread - but the thing is there's eight pages of posts inside there, and the newest couple on page 8 are from this weekend.

If everything is looking old, it's possible you're seeing everything from the very first post made in each case - in other words starting from the oldest and not the newest.

At the top of a thread, you should see a little 'Sort By' drop-down, so check you've got that set to 'Recently Updated' so that the newest threads all show first.

There's a setting you may want to tweak as well in your profile - click on your username at the top of the page, and then on 'Account Settings'.   In there should be an option for 'Content View Behaviour'.   If you set that to 'Take me to the latest comment' then every time you click on a thread it should show the latest content.
