I have a protector that is one side sleek and other side cotton. I just don't want to smell of piss the whole time because that smell is persistent 😅 and don't want anyone to find out, so whenever someone is over, the same applies to the bed(room), like my partner who is not really into it... I also find it hot to soak a perfectly clean bed as if it were the first time.
 

I admit, just being spontaneous is definitely fun, and the smell of piss is a turn-on that would invite for more! But the cotton part feels almost like it and at least soaks it up as if the mattress would, and the sleek side creates the puddles instead if I'm more into that mood (but requires minor preparation).

I'm a big fan of piss stains. I've wrecked a mattress before but learned the hard way that they're expensive to replace. Now I use a rubber sheet and absorbing pad.

Agree!! Ive decided against a mattress protector as i really love my pissy stained mattress. 

Mattress protection is about as fun as using protection during sex....not a fan!

I agree. I've tried protection and it takes all the excitement out of it.

I get a very decent affordable foam mattress from Amazon for a few hundred, not an overpriced mattress from a furniture store, so I don't worry much about ruining it. Easy to replace if needed, but I prefer the stains and pissy smell anyway.
