Strangest way to start a friendship.

On one embarrassing occasion a few years back I messaged a pee porn pic to a female then work colleague in error. I thought that social disaster would ensue with everyone in work knowing about my interests. But she kept it to herself as promised, told no one, and was still perfectly accepting of me. I respected her so much for that that I decided she was a person of rare and non-judgemental good character, and from then on I went out of my way to help her in every little way that I could. She'd had a rough past and was a bit vulnerable.

She was only half my age so there was never any serious thought of anything beyond friendship, though I could see she was good looking. (Today I have long since moved past noticing that). But we became very good friends and though she has long since moved on from my workplace, she is one of my closest friends and has a heart of gold. I love her like a best buddy and little sister all rolled into one. There is nothing sexual involved and in any case she now has a boyfriend, but she is the kind of friend I would lay down my life for.

And to think that it all started by an unintended sharing of a pee porn pic, lol.

Glad to hear that a potential and likey embarrassing moment lead to a great friendship. I guess you just never know how a friendship can begin hahahaha

Though it's had an amazingly good outcome in your case, I doubt it's something you could reliably try and repeat. But it's a lovely story 😊

I have a friend I once sent a note so flattering (but not pornographic) photo to once before we were friends. It was a very intimate photo I meant to send to another friend but sent it to her, and at the time she had only been my boss for like 3 days lol. It was awkward, but she went on to become my best buddy!
