video stalls, then internet disconnects

Last night I was trying to watch one of the lengthy one hour galician videos from the " 30 minutes of carnival peeing" thread.

The video stalled after 50 seconds, and my internet also disconnected.

I tried turning off add blocker, but this time the video still stalled after seven minutes, and again the internet disconnected.

 

It is not unusual for videos to stall out, but this is the first time I was also disconnected from the internet. I took about a minute for the asterisk to disappear and to reconnect.

 

I will try again tonight and see what happens.

 

Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing it.

 

A eroprofile video also stalled, but no disconnection.

I've tried half a dozen at random, and they all work fine here in Aus, no buffering whatsoever.

What is your Internet connection, wifi from router / modem? Network cable from router?
