I remember back in the 70’s and 80’s   Men and boys would pee outside all the time.  My brother would pee anywhere.  When we went on trips we pulled over and my dad and his friend would pee on the side of the road.  Same with my brother.  I don’t ever remember my mom or her friend peeing on the side of the road.   When my dad took me fishing he would tell me to go pee in the woods.
