The publicity lady

I thought I'd try writing something from a different perspective than my usual stories and Wet Carpet Magazine submissions. Not sure how it will work, so let me know what you think.

I recently started my own business selling and installing artificial grass for houses and businesses, but as with many startups, I'm running it on a shoestring and can't afford a serious place, so I hired a yard where I could keep supplies and have a simple cabin at the front which I use as a kind of office. I employ a couple of fitters who go out to install the grass, but I have them on a contract basis and they don't spend hours at the yard - I'm only paying them when they are out fitting grass at a customer site. I tend to do most of the admin and stuff from home, so again, don't often spend much time in the yard. That being the case, it has never worried me that it doesn't have running water or a toilet. I take supplies of water with me to make tea and usually I can get back home before I need to pee, or if I am there a while and the need becomes urgent, I simply pee on the ground behind the cabin - no big deal for me.

I need to get my business known locally and drum up some customers, so I engaged a publicity company, to try to advise on the best way of promoting the business. They wanted to meet me to go through the details, so I suggested we meet at my home seeing as the yard wasn't really a place for entertaining. The secretary at the publicity company said that they would really need to see the product and get more information about what we were doing and asked if they could send someone to meet me at the yard. I agreed and she told me that one of their publicists, Sam Giles would be with me about 10am on Tuesday.

On Tuesday morning, I went to the yard and at about 9:45 I received a text from Sam "Sorry, running late, traffic dreadful. Be about another hour". I pottered around the yard, measuring and cutting the grass for a new order off the roll and preparing it for delivery, then I did a bit of paperwork accompanied by a mug of tea. About 10:50 I heard a car pull up on the gravel outside. I went out to greet the newcomer and was surprised to see that the visitor was not some middle aged bloke, but a young lady in a smart light blue business suit with tailored jacket over a white blouse and a short straight skirt, flesh coloured stockings or tights and high heeled shoes. As she swung herself out of her sporty convertable, I was treated to a great view of her shapely legs and almost caught a glimpse of her secrets which she kept under her skirt. "Sam Giles" she said, by way of introduction, "sorry for the delay - traffic is a nightmare there are roadworks near home and then there was a crash on the dual carriageway." Sam followed me up the steps to the cabin and I directed her to take a seat where I had two low chairs opposite each other with a coffee table in between. She sat a bit awkwardly, I noticed as I asked here whether she wanted tea or coffee. I had to apologise to her and explain that we didn't have facilities here as it was just a distribution yard. Her face fell and I could see she was quite worried, but I thought this could be to my advantage. I gave her a mug of steaming tea and sat down opposite. Sam had her legs clamped tight together as she leaned over to extract some sample brochures from her bag and put them on the table. Sam explained that she would go through the options with me, but first she really needed to know a bit more about what we did and see our product. I took her out of the back door of the cabin into the yard where I showed her the various grades of artificial grass. As she was walking, I could see her moving reluctantly and stopping frequently as she controlled her needs. She was obviously desperate and getting more so by the minute. I explained that I didn't often stay there very long and that the only option I had was to go in the yard, hidden from the road by the cabin. I guestured towards the door that led to the yard and told her that she could go up against the building where she would get the most cover. I said I would close the yard gates so that nobody would come into the yard. She jumped up and hobbled across the floor towards the door, stopping and bobbing down, clutching herself as she went. I walked past her and down the steps to the yard, saying, "Give me a minute whilst I close the gates, then I'll come back in to give you some privacy". "Be quick then" she exclaimed, "I can't hold this much longer". As I closed the gates, I could see her clutching herself at the top of the steps and then I caught a glimpse of glistening on her legs. She came down the steps and said in a quite embarrassed voice "I'm sorry, I just can't wait any longer" as she pulled up her skirt whilst walking and pulled down her sodden knickers, dropping to a low squat as her pee erupted from her urethra, spraying out across the gravel in front of her, straight towards me.
