If your bed dries between wettings  it will not smell of much unless you press your nose to it. Just wash the sheets the same as you would normally.

I don’t know how to explain it but it smells like old pee and I haven’t washed my sheets in a few weeks.

I tried a new mattress protector this morning when I woke up with a full bladder. I can't complain: it does the job! Now I hope it will be dry by the evening so I can sleep in it and start rewetting...

Actually it didn't... During the day I peed two more times on it so it's my own fault...😜

It's in the washer now.
