The Neighbour

Last night, when we arrived home from our epic coastal walk, our neighbour, who I'll call L, dropped in for a chat. She knows Mary is no longer around, and also knows that we were just more than friends, don't know how, call it a woman's thing, or the changes in Maigh, who knows?

Anyway, after a half hour of so, she announced that she need to pee, Maigh looked at me, winked evilly, and called her bluff, saying that "it's a mess in there, you'll have to do it here"

I expected L to go on the grass and pop a squat (she has done it before) but no, not this time. Maigh and I both heard the soft splattering as L peed through the open weave outdoor chair and her jeans, sighing dramatically, and a few minutes later, got up to leave and went home. There was a sizeable puddle under her chair, that we both gazed at admiringly. I heard another tinkle, and watched as Maigh made a little waterfall (peefall?) under her chair, imitating L's sigh, then went to get changed.

L has already made it known that we are too old for her (mid 30's) and nothing will happen between us. 

What should we do?

Should we try to cultivate something anyway?

Do we just sit back and see what happens?

Almost makes me want to as well.

Scot, like you, I've been let known I'm too old for some and, occasionally, too old for others. But, that doesn't mean we don't once in a while enjoy the moment when nature calls.  What had to be one of the best times for me was when a woman who was at least twenty years my junior was walking on a beach with me, then stopped to empty her very full bladder making sure I got a good look. I was good friends with her parents, who weren't much older than me, so I was"off limits" when it came to dating. But, between some pretty ridiculous outfits to the occasional flash, by the time she was in her late teens, she sure loved teasing the hell out of me.

That's great that she was relaxed enought to pee there like that.   Maybe she doesn't want to get involved with you in any relationship, but if she is relaxed about peeing in front of you then just encourage that at every opportunity and enjoy the freedom that it brings between you.  She must quite like it too - at least to a certain extent or she wouldn't have done that.
