Think I'd choose Winston Churchill.

Or perhaps King Arthur just to find out the real facts from this period lost in the mists of time. It is thought that a real Celtic King Arthur successfully resisted the Anglo-Saxons for a while, but the truth has been overlaid by deep layers of fictional legend over the centuries.
