I am gagging for a wee right now and I'm having to giggle around to stop myself from wetting myself. Why does moving around make it easier to hold at the last stages of desperation?

I think it is psychological, we think that the shifting and moving helps. But at the same time, I have noticed that when I am desperate, like right now, shifting around does in fact help take the pressure off of my bladder and make it seem easer to hold on.
