Hey! Been reading this forum for years, finally decided I wanted to be an active member and participant. I‘m a 21yo male college student in New York City and yeah let’s just say it’s not uncommon to stumble across someone peeing in public here. A night out on the town on a weekend typically means at least one sighting or near miss, and just walking down the street at most times of day if you’re looking hard enough you’re gonna see puddles and tissues. Great place to live if you’ve got a piss kink. 
 

Anyway that’s enough yapping from me, just wanted to say hi.
 

PS If you’re also in NYC I’d love to chat about good spots to have sightings!

Hi and welcome.   I've never been across the pond to investigate, but I suspect the ubiquity of public urination in New York is down to its alleged lack of public toilets.  I'm told that unlike in the UK there's never been a tradition in the USA of providing public conveniences at scale.  Of course here in England a lot of public toilets have closed over the years because councils provide them as a matter of grace rather than of right, and they're an easy thing to cut when funds are tight.  However I think in recent years some councils have realised that closing them is a false economy and it's actually better to provide them at a modest charge.
