Stressful Midnight Trip

About an hour ago, I just had a very stressful (and desperate) trip home from a party at a friend's house. 


So, the party ended around 11:50 PM and the carpool took us back to the lot where our cars were. During this time. I had a few objectives 

1. Go To McDonalds since I was still hungry 

2. Get gas since I was low

3. Get home and use the bathroom (I had to go but I didn't feel like going out in the open or anything like that)

So when I got to my car I put in the GPS for McDonalds. Since it was past midnight the cafe was long closed (as expected). I was hoping it would've been open so I could use their restroom, but no biggie. I sort of expected that. It didn't take too long to get my food (Around 10-15 minutes) nor did I order anything fancy. Just a basic quarter pounder meal.

 

Anyways, with that out of the way I then went to go get gas. I drive a few minutes away to get to a Shell. I try putting in my card at the machine and it declined it. I then tried my discover card and the same thing happened. Tried both cards at another pump and still got nothing. I knew it wasn't either on my end because I JUST used one of those to buy my food at McDonalds. After 20 minutes of trying, I gave up and went out of the way to Casey's to try there and sure enough. I was able to get gas just fine. At that point, I really needed to pee so I was just gonna use Casey's restroom. But then I noticed that one of my two cards wasn't there. So I pancaked and drove back to the Shell to hopefully try and find it. I had never lost a credit card before and had no idea how I could've possibly lost it. 

By the time I got back to shell. I looked around everywhere and there were no signs of my card. I was freaking the hell out because the bank was closed so I couldn't shut the card off til tomorrow. So if it got stolen, I could've possibly lost everything in my checking account. Eventually I searched the card and sure enough, it fell under the seat. So I got it and took some time to calm down. I pretty much ate everything and sat there for a good 20 minutes.

 

After I finished my food, my bladder gave me a painful reminder that I needed to go and go soon. The GPS said that I still had another 15 minutes to get home and I knew there was no chance I was getting home on time. And the shell market wasn't open either so I was out of luck there. I wasn't going to be peeing in a toilet, that much I knew. The Casey's was out of the way and I wanted to go home ASAP and I wasn't gonna make it home without peeing. So I had to figure out a solution for where to go. I originally thought of peeing on the side of the Shell building behind some dumpsters, but of course some guys come nearby. I eventually turned to my empty McDonalds cup. I was a little skeptical about doing this since I didn't want to get pee on the inside of the car and it wasn't a large cup either so it could overflow. But I was out of options, so I pulled my pants down, scooted to the edge of my seat, and peed into the cup. It felt so good finally releasing my bladder, and satisfying managing to fill up the cup (but not so much to the point where it overflowed). After I was done, I simply threw the cup and my trash away and drove home. Didn't get home until 1:10 AM

Stressful as hell night. But it had a happy ending

Loved the story.  If your cup had filled up, you could have dumped it out the window and continued.  Just a thought.

Hot story about your peeing but sorry you had to have the stress of thinking you had lost your card and the factors of delaying your much needed pee.
