Camping and peeing

I was sent to summer sports camp when I was younger and one night I peed in my sleeping bag and right through the thin mattress by accident because when I woke up during the night it was pouring rain outside so I just went back to sleep. I woke up in the morning when I heard a couple of the other guys getting up shortly after dawn and then slowly realized what I'd done. I put my right hand into my sleeping bag and realized that both it and my pjs were soaked. I waited for all seven other guys to get up and leave the cabin and then tried to hide the evidence as much as I could. I went to the counsellors cabin and spoke to the counsellor assigned to our cabin who was a college student working at the camp as a summer job. He told me to go back to the cabin and said he'd be over in a few minutes. When I walked into the cabin a couple of the guys had already discovered my accident and they were whispering and trying not to openly make fun of me but one of them was obviously snickering. The counsellor arrived and was really good about it. He told the other guys in the cabin who were all back from breakfast by then that it could happen to any of them. He helped find me a dry mattress and a spare dry sleeping bag.
