Before I start, I confess that this thread's title is mostly a rhetorical question; that is, I already have an answer, although I'd like to hear others. I would also warn anyone who cares that this is going to get a bit philosophical. This topic has been stewing in my mind for years now, and here, finally, is an audience that can engage.

These are pictures of women peeing outdoor. To say that one in ten of them wasn't aware that she was photographed is being generous. Incidentally, about one in ten of them was shot from a back view. You see, the reason we all gather here on this site and have forums like "Real Pee Sightings & True Stories" is that peeing is supposed to be a private act. Key words: "supposed to be." Whenever we tell about people doing it in front of us intentionally, we are citing exceptions to the world's rule. I believe that the genesis of our pee fetishes lies in the fascination of this private act. The more a girl stresses "you're not supposed to be watching me," the more potent it is.

I'm puzzled at the popularity of frontal-view peeing. To me, it feels artificial; there is usually no sense of shy modesty, no apparent concern for being seen. The girl could clearly tell you're watching if she wanted to. I don't think many of us started out on this, so why did it gain so much steam? However, the topic is called "Why the Rear View," not the other way around.

I'd like to get back to the roots of the "genesis pee fetish" by pushing for more backside pics and videos. In real life, we wouldn't get to see girls peeing by observing them indoors, but outdoors. And we usually don't see them from the front, but from the side or behind, because they're watching in front of them. "Okay, Lugia," you'll say, "anyone who feels that way can subscribe to Pee Hunters and be done with it." But there's a little more to it than that. I recently looked through Admin's thread "How long ago did you realise you were interested in pee?", and anyone who gave a backstory almost universally had people they knew as their subjects: sisters, friends, near-relatives. It's usually personal. "What does that have to do with the rear view?" you may be wondering. Simple: it's integral to the setup. Someone familiar with you will pause any outdoor activity and feel the need to excuse herself- prompting you to follow and see the forbidden act. With the total strangers in Pee Hunters, the camera's already set up, and someone just happens to walk into frame. It's not the same. Videos that depict the girl being followed first are much closer in alignment to what most of us must have done- in one form or another- at the genesis of our pee fetish. And when the girl gets behind something, the follower doesn't jump out in front of her; he observes from the back, unseen. There is, of course, the added bonus of seeing her bum in all its glory, and the pee tends to hit harder if she's doing a mid-level squat.

In reality, according to the world's rules, the girl wouldn't expect to be followed and watched. And if she did suddenly suspect she was being observed, she might stop at once, or act very embarrassed or indignant, but she wouldn't show off. It's the "first" time, after all. It should always be the "first" time with a rear view.

I realize what a creeper I must sound like right now, but I am, after all, talking to people on a site called "Watch Girls Peeing." I place my faith in your understanding. Please let me know what you think; I'm trying to start a movement here, but I'll listen to anything else you want to say on this matter. Thanks for hearing me out.

I think the reason front views are so popular is because of how much you can see. I'm not a huge fan of the rear view (although it can be nice at times) because more often than not you don't really see much at all. The steam goes forward and so does the puddle. So unless the photo/video is taken at a low angle you just see a girls bum as she squats.

But when a front view you can see so much more. The stream, the puddle, her underwear if she's wearing any, the look of relief or excitement on her face and of course, between her legs.

I think I understand you guys a little better now; thanks for taking the time to talk me through it. The "seeing her facial expression" argument was especially eye-opening. Perhaps another false assumption I made, on top of the "exceptions-to-spying" idea Egwalrus pointed out, was the "personal" thing. Considering I was looking into a thread talking about the beginnings of a pee fetish, the odds are stacked that it would be with someone one personally knows. Little kids don't exactly hang out with strangers.

Though I get where you're coming from, that still doesn't change my preference for rear view angles. I suppose such is the nature of a fetish, just as with favorite foods: you can't be logically persuaded one way or another to like what you like. To answer your concern about not seeing much from the rear, Sophie, this is why I brought up mid-level squats (involving leaning forward) as opposed to the near-ground-leaning-back thing. I think it really depends on what it is you get off on. As you say, the nature of your particular fetish.

Sometimes I really enjoy the more 'private' aspect - for example, the 'hidden cam' type. Other times I really enjoy the more blatant, porny stuff (although certainly NOT the more gynaecological stuff you see a lot of).

After many years of having this fetish, I think I've concluded that what does it for me is a girl having a totally carefree attitude to peeing. Some girls will absolutely not pee anywhere but a toilet and think that anything else is disgusting - that's fine, I can totally respect that point of view. Others, well, they will drop their knickers (or perhaps keep them on!) wherever - some will be more reserved and seek out bushes etc, but some - as evidenced by the amount of pics in the link you posted - are perfectly happy to just let it go.

I do find myself having some 'limits'. For example, I love to see a girl pissing on the carpet - but would I necessarily want her to soak my carpet? I'm not so sure - I love to see it (it seems very naughty!), but don't necessarily want to live with the associated smells. Something else that I like but don't see very often (and probably fits in with the carefree attitude that I described above) is when a girl takes a pee then just gets up, pulls up her knickers/jeans/whatever and doesn't bother wiping, especially if she's splashed her thighs/bum a bit.

That's not to say I don't enjoy the more "made-for-porn" aspect though. For example, most of the X-Streams stuff is fantastic, SneakyPee, Rebekah Dee and friends, older stuff like TamTamSouth's extremely naughty clips - all those really do it for me. I do find I'm less likely to enjoy the more hardcore side of it, but it doesn't absolutely turn me off.

I think the roots of my fetish were definitely in the hidden/private side of peeing. However, as the Internet has revolutionised everything it's opened up a wide range of areas for everyone to explore and my fetish has evolved, or perhaps been more finely-tuned. I also think a hell of a lot of the 'full frontal' pee porn (especially where you see the woman with her legs spread and top up/off) is generic stuff churned out by pornographers with models who probably aren't into peeing much, if at all. They aren't opposed to doing it, but I doubt they'd actively do it in their private lives. Sure there are exceptions (here's just 1 - British porn star Lolly Badcock) as with anything, but I tend to think a lot of the frontal stuff may be just on the "manufactured" side - which may be a possible reason for your dislike of it?
