A remembered sighting

This was something I saw in my late teens.  It was one of the first times I got a good look at a woman peeing.  It was an important memory for me for many years, but then I forgot about it.  It resurfaced only very recently.

I was a passenger on a long car journey, sitting on the other side from the driver (so staring out of the window, bored, at the pavement and beyond).  It was summer, dusk, so late evening, but still light.  It was a slow journey.  We had to drive through the centre of many towns and cities.

We stopped at traffic lights in one.  I was not paying much attention to anything.  Something moving caught my eye.  It was a thin stream of clear liquid.  I looked down and saw it pouring into the gap between two slats in a metal storm drain in the gutter.  Curious, I looked up to see where it was coming from.  I suddenly jolted into alertness as I saw flesh, a bum, thighs, a slit in the flesh from which the liquid was pouring fast, a sort of fleshy V and lips.  My first thought was that it was not a boy.  I immediately realised that it was a woman, using the drain as a toilet.  I was fully attentive now.

She was right outside the car.  I had a wonderful view, looking straight between her parted legs.

She was squatting on the edge of the pavement, jeans and knickers pulled down to expose her bum and vulva.  Thighs apart, she was pissing hard, and staring intently down to make sure her aim was good.  It was.  The tidy line of pee curved and thundered into the gap between the slats, but there was wetness on the drain to show where her aim had not been true.  I just stared and stared at her exposed private parts, her thighs and rounded bum, and watched the workings of a woman urinating in public.

It lasted only a few seconds.  She didn't look up, and then the traffic was moving again, and we drove off.  She was still making her personal fountain into the drain.
