Hong Kong have been westernized through past 30 years, ans western toilet just became popular around 30 years ago. Girls learn to sit down to pee since they are in kindergarten. there are only western toilets in kindergarten in Hong Kong(unlike mainland china, which they use squat toilet.) but after they get into elementary school. they might not have western toilet. yes, it is true, those developed Asian countries do have both squat and western toilet. including Hong Kong,Singapore Taiwan and japan. squat toilet and western toilet co exist inside bathroom of japan and Singapore.but just like mention above, the young Singapore women choose western toilet over squat toilet. I am not really sure how Japanese women choose. In Hong Kong, squat toilet become less  and less common. As long as I can tell, there is no other forum in foreign language that mainly discuss the topic of urination, but I do know that some women in Chinese speaking circles (China,HongKong or Taiwan)do discuss urination on other internet forums. I think women who go to shopping center are tend to be younger than general population. most of them may under 40,which do not pass the so call "golden age for women to squat" that I mentioned. this might be the reason why the squat toilet were empty most of time,and the younger women tend to choose western toilet.

some western women do feel okay with this version of squat toilet. The picture below was taken by a female traveler who traveled to china. she praise the convenience that she can squat to pee without sitting on a dirty toilet seat. she pointed her thumb upward in the picture.

this is not entirely true,some Chinese ladies rooms in Beijing do not have series of wall or partition. It allow five women who don't know to each other squat and pee at the same time.  when a famous Taiwanese actress gynoy first travel to Beijing four years ago in 2018, she feel so scary when she had to squat to pee with other four women. she prefer to squat to pee outside than in lady's room. Now,she have already got used to it. the picture below is the picture that she took in Beijing's lady's room four years ago.

The most comfortable way for women to pee is obviously, sit down on a clean toilet seat with the door locked,but in public bathroom,the thing does not go as wished. most toilet seat in public bathroom are dirty, a lot of women hover to pee to avoid sitting down. in some Asian countries, western toilet is uncommon. western women travel to there have to learn to squat to pee. In the worst scenario,some village toilet stalls have no door, some squat toilets don't even have partition. The Asian women just squat side by side and pee. The western female travelers were stared at by Asian women while peeing, and teased by Asian women for not even know how to pee.

when human being face difficult situation(including unfavorable bathroom situation)the so call fight or flight or submit response will occurs. The term fight or flight or submit response represent the choice of our ancient ancestors,when they face enemies,they can choose to fight back,to escape or surrender.In modern world, when people face difficult situation,the choice they make represent several different personalities, including dominance,submissive and avoidance personality.

when a woman face a unfavorable situation,the decision her make may reflect her personality.

Answer "A" in any of the question above represent submissive behavior. If you choose answer "A" twice,you are a beta female. you are submissive and kind in nature. you prefer to be a follower rather than a leader. you are willing to submit to authority of other. you are often praise as respectful and law law abiding. for example, if you willing to sit on a dirty toilet sit, this mean you really care what other people feel about you,you cannot stand for your self.

answer "B" is avoidance behavior, if you choose "B twice" you are a omega female,when you face difficult situation,you will just run away. you try everything to avoid conflict and dislike violence.

Answer "C" is Dominance behavior, if you choose "c" twice, you are a alpha female,you are confident and self center. you seek power over other people. you do what you think to be right,not what other people tell you to be right. you are more likely to break the law than other women because you want to be the ruler,you don't want to follow the rule that make by the authority,you want to make your own rule. you don't fear consequence or punishment for breaking those rules. for example,many women fall from the toilet and break their leg,if you step and squat on the toilet,you don't fear consequence. if you overshoot the floor of the squat toilet,you don't care what next woman think about you. If you are sociable,this kind of personality will make you a female ruler or leader, otherwise,you make end up jail for breaking the law.

some research show that the shy bladder issue is more common in men than women. even a man in general without shy bladder would not prefer to stand too close with another man stand next to him while using urinal.

on the other hand,women in general (at least in most western countries) care more about the long line or cleanliness of bathroom,but some western women began to pay attention to the issue of privacy and toilet design after they travel to Asian countries.

some western women peed on their feet when they used squat toilet for the first time while first arrive Asian countries. other western women feel embarrassing when they had to use toilet stall with no door, and they feel like stared by the Asian women(the Asian women might tease the westerners for not able to use Asian toilet.)

the main goal of this poll is to know the bottomline of western women,and what is the acceptable environment for bathroom.

most women who took the survey or replied this post (which can do full squat)are within the age range(or at least near that range )of peak age that I mentioned. is that mean women at that age have better leg muscle strength?
