Update: Filters, Browsing & Search
It's been a bit longer than I originally intended but I've just pushed a big update to the Pee Movie List. Many more ways to explore the data. We've got over 4000 entries in the system now! Thanks to everyone who has submitted new information.
1) Global Filters
On the top right of every page is a triangle button. Click or tap this to open the filter menu. Here you can specify which scene categories that you do/do not wish to see on the site. For each category there are three options, show the type of scene, hide the type of scene, or hide the media entry completely even if other scenes match. There are quite a lot of buttons to check but it should offer enough options to be very specific about the content you want. These will be stored in a cookie to save your settings for your next visit. If you promise not to tell the EU then I'll leave off the cookie warning!
Now that this is an option any scene tagged as Poop related is now hidden by default, if you want to see those you have to specifically turn it on.2) Browsing & Ordering
In addition to browsing the database by Letter, you now have the option to browse by Category, Year & Genre. You could browse a single category by turning all the other ones off in the global filters, but that's not very efficient. Now you can directly find a list of each category in the browse section. You can also find browsing by release year and genre options here too, which should be self explanatory. These pages are of course also affected by your current global filter settings. In addition to that, anywhere a year, genre or category is mentioned that is now a link to the browse page for that category, allowing more ways to quickly explore the data. As well at that every listing page now has the option to change the sort order of the results. Currently this is alphabetical forward or reverse, or by release date either newest or oldest first.3) Search
Another way to find what you're looking for, search for it. Want to see if a particular actor or director has done multiple scenes? Rather search all the scene descriptions for mentions of "desperate"? You can do that to. Simply enter your search term and select which area of the data you wish to search (multiple allowed from: Titles, Descriptions, Actors, Directors, Writers). Much like the years and genres, any name display is now a link to a search for the name. Of course the results are also affected by your global filters.4) Also Known As
Finally to help find things in the search easier the system now has aka titles. Many entries are known by different titles in different regions and sometimes even in the same region. Some edit suggestions have been submitted with these titles but there was nowhere for for to put this info. There are alternative titles listed in the parent TMDB database where I get the movie info, I just wasn't importing this information, yet. How I've added that info to the system and whenever you search for a title the alternatives will also be checked. If you want to see all the titles, they're listed on the view page. That should just about cover all the common requests for features, but I'm still open to any suggestions.

any way of getting clips in it?
Some of the entries have links to You Tube or other video sites, and you can edit them in if you have links. However there will never be clips directly on the site itself. The bandwidth needed to host videos would be far too expensive and that would also bring a much higher risk of copyright claims.
You can use a site like Just Watch if you want to find where a certain movie is available for streaming.

Maybe filtering by classifications would be a good feature.
Loads more filtering and browsing options are definitely on my to do list. I'll be looking at that soon once the initial data entry for TV shows is done.

(Note to @marcusx41 - when pasting in, please could you click the link to 'Paste as Plain Text Instead' so that it will display correctly on all themes, browsers and text size settings. Thanks)
Apologies, because I was in dark mode myself I didn't notice what had happened, I've fixed that now.

tl:dr? I did it already (wip) and you can see it here: https://thepml.net/
It's been live for a few weeks now and I'm slowly getting more data in. I've been posting updates on omo.org but just now found this site in my bookmarks and realized that it would likely be of interest here too.
The full story? I've been around since the early days. I remember when Patches' Place was a brand new website and I remember the original Pee Movie List well. I loved to browse through it and discover interesting new films to watch. Some I would have never even considered otherwise, but that little added bonus helped me to try new things. It only deepened my love of film. I was sad when it was announced that it would no longer be updated. As a web programmer by trade, even back then I considered taking it on as a project but for various reasons I ended up not doing so.
I later discover that the list was back as a sub-forum on omorashi.online. That was great and it was good to have all the data available again. However the forum format made just browsing the list less pleasant. If you were looking for something specific that was fine, but just casually exploring the data wasn't as fun. And so I stopped visiting as often.
I did briefly think about copying the list from omorashi.online over to a Letterboxd list to bring back the browsable nature. However it quickly became apparent that would take way too much time to do manually. (That is now available as an export from the new database. https://letterboxd.com/marcusx42/list/the-pee-movie-list/ )
Recently a thread on omo.org about the list was bumped up and it brought back the memories. I knew omoahsi.online was down at that point but I hadn't made the connection that the list was therefore gone. I found myself thinking I wish someone would bring the list back as a proper browsable database driven website. I didn't take much longer for those thoughts to evolve into "wait... why don't I do that"!
The final piece which made me realize that now was the time was https://themoviedb.org/. I knew there was and API where I could use their data to get consistent information on actors, directors, genres & titles without having to rely on user input for that. I can also grab the poster for the film which makes the browsing experience much nicer. Having the poster and the genre information tells so much about the film quickly.
So I threw together a basic website and merged the data from an archive of the original 2015 Pee Movie List with the film data from TMDb and that gives us https://thepml.net/
Functions are fairly simple at the moment. Because the problem is this is based on the data from 2015 and therefore missing any film released in last 7 years. So I wanted to get things open to user submissions as early as possible. Over a last few weeks myself and some others from omo.org have been working on adding new entries. You can browse the list by letter and you can submit new entries to the database. Submitting an entry does require an account, mainly to keep bots out of the system. Creating an account does ask for an email address, this is stored securely and will only ever be used for password resets.
Things I'm thinking about for the future? The next big update will be about way more options for exploring the data, browse/filter by genre, year, director etc. After that... Profiles? Reviews? Ratings? Watchlists? We'll see how it evolves. If anyone knows of another open database like TMDb but for books or comics instead it could be expanded to include those. I'm also open to maybe adding other bodily functions/fluids. There's an option already for additional poop content, which will be hidden by default, as the original list mentioned it sometimes in an "also of interest" section. I've also added a category for diapers which the original list didn't have. I will additionally make sure that full exports of the data are available so that should I suddenly become unavailable for the project anymore then someone else can easily take over.
Please have a look, let me know what you think or anything you'd like to see from the project in the future. https://thepml.net. Also if you have any data to add please do so as that spares my time to work on site features instead of data management.

Bringing back The Pee Movie List
in Pee Websites
Posted
A few more minor updates.
Thanks for the great suggestions @laughingbeast and @pisshisspiss I've added both of those features now.
On the main browse page below each section is a link to view more of the recent new or edited entries. This page will show you all of the new or edited entries from the previous thirty days. If you want to go back further than that then each of the results pages with sorting options now have the option to sort by the date they were added to the system. (For technical reasons you can't do that for edits... yet) The sorting option only allows for newest first sorting. The reverse option wouldn't be particularly useful as all the data imported from the original list has the same added date from Feb 2022 when this version of the site was launched.
There is a ? at the top right of every view page, clicking that will take you to a random entry in the database, matching your current global filters.
Also the site now has it's own dedicated page for news & announcements. I'll still post any major updates here but now any of the smaller updates will be posted on the site itself. You can find that at https://thepml.net/sitenews/
Finally there has been an issue with the contact form for a while, which has now been fixed. So if you've used that and didn't get a response please send it again. Posting in this thread or DMing me are also fine if you have any questions.
