The whole job had been a stupid idea in the first place! Fiona was angry at her mother, who had suggested she would take on a job at the fair as long as it lastet. "Just one week of work with no further obligations." mom had said. It was already dark outside and the humming lightbulb of her workplace was driving her insane. Not to mention the mosquitoes it was attracting. And than there was that unbearable fair music, that kept repeating and repeating. She had no idea how the people who traveled with the fair and worked there every day could stand this. Luckily, most of them were very nice. They had brought her some water over several times, because Fiona didn't even had time to get something to drink - or go to the toilet. Pierre, her boss for the week, was none of those nice people. He had demanded that the ticket booth should be open all the time. The previous day Fiona had worked there together with another girl from her town and they had taken turns to leave the booth for a while. But today she was alone and hating it. The customers weren't better. One pretentious woman had discussed with her for at least five minutes over the number of tickets Fiona had given her, and in the end Fiona had given in. But that was already several hours ago, and nothing exciting had happened since then.

"Do you have an idea how long this queue is? It's outrageous!" A man said as if he thought that comment would change anything. Fiona decided to ignore it and just asked him how many marks he wanted, while she folded her legs again. She really had to find a way to pee soon.  The outraged man had gotten his tickets when Fiona heard the door open behind her. "Thank god" she thought. Someone was here to give her a break finally. 

"Hey Girl." It was the voice of Pierre, her boss, and Fiona hopes shattered a little. She turned around to see the slimy man in his mid fourties, with his gelled hair and his foul teeth. He didn't even bother to learn her name and always referred to her as "Girl". 

"I need you t' go over to the shooting wagon and check if 't's locked." The way he talked, swallowing whole letters, aligned perfectly with his appearance. He had no trace of a French accent and Fiona was sure his name was as fake as Pierre's rolex watch.

"And who will continue here?" She asked.

"I'll. But if I walk all the way to that wagon, m'back's gonna kill me." 

How she hated that guy. But at least she could go to the loo now. She grabbed her bag and went out while Pierre told her to hurry. As soon as she closed the door, she turned to the loo.

"Where the hell you think you're going?" Pierre shouted from behind.

Fiona got red while all the outrageously long queue watched her. "To the toilets." she whispered. 

But Pierre didn't bother with any discretion and shouted back at her: "Did I told you t' go to the toilet or did I gave you a job t' do?"

"I just thought I..."

"Your not payed for thinking, girl, your payed t' do what ever the hell I tell you!"

Fiona was very embarrassed and very desperate, but knew it would be fruitless to discuss so she hurried in the direction of the shooting wagon, while the whole crowd watched her. 'What a basterd' she thought. The way he treated those who only worked at the fair for a week was outrages. Those girls - and Pierre only hired girls - had to do all the work the regulars didn't want. The whole job had been a stupid idea in the first place! 

Fiona was almost jogging, her bladder was at the brink of bursting, but the toilet situation at the fair was terrible. She was sure the regulars had some hidden facilities somewhere, that the local workers like her didn't get access to. Nonetheless, her desperation would come to an end soon. She could already see the wagon. After she cheked it, she could finally go to the loo.
Fiona stepped up the two metal steps to the door at the side of the wagon and stuck the key in. To her surprise she was able to it around twice, the door hadn't been locked. So she didn't went all that way for nothing. In the same moment one of the unbearable fair music songs stopped and a new was about to begin, so that everything was comparably silent for a few moments. It was that silence that allowed Fiona to hear the sound of running water from the inside. But as soon as the music began anew, she couldn't hear anything, so she just shrugged it off and began to hurry in the direction of the toilets. But she had just gone one step down the stairs, when good reasoning overcame her. After all she should at least check on the sound. To her knowledge the wagon wasn't connected to any plumbing so there couldn't really be a running faucet inside, but if she wouldn't check she wouldn't stop thinking about this all day. Also, those 10 seconds wouldn't break her bladder after all. 

Fiona turned on her heel, unlocked the door, opened it and let her jaw drop.

In the middle of the carpeted shooting wagon, between the stuffed animals that the visitors could win and the targets they had to shoot to do so, was a girl about her age. A short, brunette girl with incredible, curly hair. Naked.

"Get out of here!" Fiona shouted. The girl moved a little, but as soon as she did another burst of pee escaped and patterer on the carpet, she froze again. It was not easy to stop in the middle of a deeperate piss, although this was not the most desperate piss she had done this day. She had misused the wagon already earlier that evening. She moved again, again starting to piss, but didn't care this time. Fiona just watched in fury. The girl just ignored the piss that sprayed the wall with the stuffed animal trophies while she got on her tiptoes to get her trousers and shoes she had placed on the top shelf.
"I'm so sorry." She said, and really ment it, while she finished her stream for good, hurrying to get dressed again and stumbled out of the wagon, leaving a wet mess behind.

Fiona was angry. Who did this girl think she was? Did she knew who had to clean up after her? Did she even consider somebody had to clean up after her? Well, Fiona was not going to be the one washing the piss out of this carpet. Of course Pierre was going to make her, but she wouldn't. What would that Doctor Who girl do, the one her cousin compared her with? Well, that strong and independent girl sure wouldn't rub the piss out of some stinking carpet for minimum wage. She would show Pierre what a basterd he was. And Fiona was gonna stick it to him too. 

Before she could reconsider Fiona dropped her beige pants and squatted in the middle of the wagon. That jackass couldn't just grant no toilet breaks and get away with it. Fiona didn't know, and she would not find out. She walked back to the ticket booth, confident like she hadn't been ever before. She slammed the keys on the counter and Pierre looked at her. He was puzzled. 
"I'm out." She didn't need to explain anything to that guy. Fiona simply turned around and left, while Pierre was shouting at her. "Come back Girl!" But after all, 'Girl' was not her name, and she was not going to come back.

Oh, how she hated trains. She knew something like this would happen from the moment she had booked her ticket. "And that's what I left my seat for?" she said jokingly. Claire didn't want to appear to desperate in front of the stranger, he was quite tall, had dark brown hair and a hard face, but was looking kindly. 
"It's outrageous" he said. Claire nodded and than she had to move her hands between her legs. 
"Is it that bad?" he asked.
Claire wanted to shake her head, but at that moment some drops escaped and she bobbed a little up and down. She and the stranger were standing quite close to each other, but the rest of the people were looking in different directions.

Of course Claire didn't take them at first, but after he insisted she undressed again - it didn't made a difference now anyway - and put the jeans of the stranger on. "How could I thank you?" She asked.
"First of all you could give me your phone number." Ron answered "So we can exchange the jeans again."
Before that explanation she thought he was asking for a date. 
"Exchange?" 
"I will keep them as pledge. I need some sort of guarantee I get my jeans back, after all." Ron smiled. Then his stop came, he left and Claire was alone again, next to the yellow puddle of their joined accident, that was spreading slowly.

I rang the doorbell at Cece's house. It was hot outside, the summer had begun. The fair was big and buisy, it was full of laughing people who enjoined it as an escape from there monotonous lives. Also there was some drinking ongoing. "Their phone is dead. Total blackout." Gillan said.

"Yeah, come in." I opened the door fully. They both came in with their blankets and pillows and made themselves a home on the carpet after I had put away the clothes from yesterday that I had carelessly deposed there. It had been the opposite of keeping my room tidy. We were able to make light with a battery charged nightlamp of Gilians. "Why not? They can come and get it if they want it." I explained.

I walked around with the box for a while, before I sat down on a bench near some trees and a running track, eating my lunch. 

When I returned to the dorm, I found a letter and a key underneath my door from the administration. Apparently the room I was staying in had a window that wouldn't open so it was going to be left empty for the whole year,  and I had to change to the one next to mine. Then I wanted to return the second key, but realized that if they wanted the old key back they could come and get it. That wasn't my responsibility. "Oh man!" Aisha was upset. "They must have left without us!" 

"Great." Gilian said sarcastically. "I told you we were late." she said, blaming Aisha.

"Yeah, Yeah. But my mom was on the phone and I couldn't just hang her up, okay? You didn't even let me go to the toilets afterwards."

"Because we were late." 

"Well, we missed them anyway."

"I really was looking forward to this." Gilian was still complaining. First I was happy they had left without us, as this whole idea was kinda stupid and I should have really read the stuff they gave me, and unboxed, and - but no, I was going to hold on to this. 

"I have a car." I said. "I can drive wherever we want to go." 

"Really?" Gilian asked.

"And you don't want to drink all night?"

While I was driving they already started drinking from a bottle Gilian had brought.

We found a parking lot, but had to a little to the clubs. I took a zip from the alcohol.
"Would you please hurry up, Gilian?" Aisha asked. She sounded nervous.

"What's the matter?" Gilian said unimpressed. She was admiring the outfit of a mannequin in a shop window.

The walk back would usually take fifteen minutes, but we had already passed more then half of the way before five minutes where elapsed. "Guess we have to go back and wait till the lesson ends."

"Who?"

"Are they gone?" 

"No. Seems like there standing there, talking. I think one of them is Ms. Howard."

"Fuck it, I'm going to pee now." Anna stated.

"You're what?" I turned around in disbelief, seeing Anna standing directly in front of me over a small drain she had found.

"Psst!" She was right, I had been a little to loud.

"You can't do this." I said in disbelief.
