The back steps of the cabin look like this, basically the porch faces the lake and there are two steps down to the grass strip that runs along the side. This grass strip is where I’ve been squatting to pee, around the side of the cabin but visible if you just go take a look. From where I’m standing to take the pic is the door to the bathroom, so it’s risky during the day as anyone heading to the bathroom could see clearly. I've had to have ~5 uterine ultrasounds for various reasons over the past 3 years... the need to pee is torture! I have a pretty strong bladder (I often go 8-12 hours without peeing without even thinking about it) and thought I would be okay. They told me to drink 1L of water 1 hour before the appointment. Within 20 minutes, I needed to pee pretty good. I still had 40 minutes until I would even be seen! The second ultrasound, I knew more what to expect. For this one though, the ultrasound technician told me my bladder was TOO FULL and I had to go let some pee out. Getting to let it all out afterward was the most relieving feeling because every time they pressed down with the wand, I could barely control my bladder muscles now that they had been tested. Third time, I drank slightly less because I did not want to go through that again, but it didn't help much, I still almost wet myself on the table and waddled to the bathroom after. My two most recent ones, I came up with a genius idea... I would wear a depends diaper (with the elastic waistband) which would allow for some leakage! The most recent time, there were 3 people lined up outside the single-stall they had available (the other two were out of order!) and I knew that was easily a 4-5 minute wait. Bad news on my drive home though... the intersection that would get me home had a major vehicle accident at it, so I had to take a 15 minute detour to drive way around it. As I was sitting at a complete standstill, I realized that I was wearing a diaper. During the long few hours of traffic crawling along I saw at least 10 men and 5 women pissing on the side of the road by their cars, it was exciting to be able to watch some people in the act!

Visited some family for the long weekend, and ran into some troubles on my trip back. There were major floods last year in my region, and they’re still repairing the highways. Combine that construction with long weekend traffic, there was a ~3 hour delay.
