Popular Post Mary Moon 1,980
Finally a doctor gave me an answer after years of nothing. When i was little they told me all sorts of things: overactive bladder and other such abstract things. I have never had a serious diagnosis, as a child they even advised my mother to educate me because i could be lazy or on purpose, luckily my mother has always been on my side. Last week i finally went to a doctor who understood what I have, i showed him my ultrasounds and tests and explained my symptoms to him. He asked me if by chance i had had some accidents in primary school and then it seemed that the situation had improved around the age of 10/11, but then the situation worsened again in adolescence and i nodded a little surprised. In practice, the bladder did not develop together with the rest of the body. In elementary school i pissed myself several times, then around the age of 10/11 i felt better and the accidents had almost disappeared, so much so that i thought was cured, but then around the age of 13 i got much worse and I had several sudden desperations and humiliating incidents because my body had developed through puberty and my bladder had lagged behind. Basically my incontinence is more of a capacity issue. My bladder remains that of a child and obviously has a lot of difficulty supporting the urine production of my adult body. The good news is that when my body stops growing my bladder should recover and therefore i will have more capacity, although of course it will always be smaller than normal. I wish had had this diagnosis sooner, i certainly would have had fewer problems Edited April 27 by Mary Moon 1 15 Link to post
