Popular Post gldenwetgoose 21,425
I don't recall any direct accounts coming up on this subject, other than featuring in a story I wrote some time ago. Between you members (female & male) is there anyone who leads an equine lifestyle? and if so does that involve urgent releases during the course of taking after your horses? I used to be involved in an agricultural college, which took on school leavers - generally who didn't know what they wanted to do, but thought it could be fun brushing horses manes all day. At the college open days you could see a stream of them, all made up with makeup, eyelashes, scarves to go with their white slim fit polo shirts and tan jodhpurs. Being given a wheelbarrow and a rake was quite amusing to be honest - talk about hitting the world of work with a bump. Then in the equine world are the farmy type mature manager types, very brusque and forceful, not to be messed with - fitting what they need to do at the stables before and after their executive jobs. Add all those elements together and I guess there's lots of scenarios where paddocks don't have anything other than drinking water, of farmyards with an absolutely disgusting outbuilding toilet. Now fundamentally the purpose of spreading straw in the stable is to soak up the gallons of piss the horse will release. So, girls and ladies - do you pee in the straw when cleaning out? Is it a common thing? Do all the girls know that everyone does it? Do you have a single bale of straw to sit on, or is it a case of squatting on the box floor before raking out? Anyone care to share any experiences? Cheers! 5 Link to post
Guest UnabashedUser
It's a common thing to do here in TX where horses sometimes outnumber people. In the 4H horse classes that's where the girls all go but its a semi secret. If you quietly walk through a stable at a large fair or horse show you can sometimes catch a glimpse. Link to post
