Yeah we used to stand on the side all the time at our pool and pee into it. Or stand in the shallow end above the water and pull out to pee. Never been to spa, but have seen some videos and think it would be really hot see in person

Our folks, me and my friends, never seemed to mind. My folks would just let us pee in the yard instead of trekking back in the house to pee. And we'd aim at things like the knot in a tree trunk, or maybe random things on the ground, like in the center of a junk tire or at bottle lying around. So growing up peeing wasn't really naughty or anything, till later anyway, but it was certainly fun. Shooting out a big stream to aim at things was fun, and finding out that holding it made you pee longer, and also felt rather good, was great. Sadly a bad experience where I was locked in a bathroom at school because I didn't have to pee at the time certainly encouraged me to start peeing outside and holding it even till I wet myself, but I actually got over that quickly thankfully. In fact even if I wet myself, it never bothered me as a kid. Probably part of the reason I really enjoy it now.
