1. 8mm as in film movies? You need an old 8mm projector... I picked one up many years ago in a thrift shop... not sure where it is now. I saw one recently in a thrift shop, but I have no need for one...

you really old pervs might remember the 25 cent movies at seedy "adult bookstores" Yeah, those used to be 8mm long ago. I remember from the 70's and 80's... And yes I saw a very few pee movies then... but they were very hard to find...

    Ooops, my bad.

I saw "8mm" and assumed he meant this:

    Instead of this:

  2. Back in the 1990 8mm and Hi-8mm were industry standard formats in the videography industry. The technology has come a long way since then. You may be able to find an old player from a source selling used electronics from production houses for cheap.

  3. At the time I posted this Shawn & I were launching a project to create affiliate marketing sites, as well as to sell traffic funneling sites, to brick and mortal businesses seeking an online presence. Shortly after I posted this, one of his major clients opened a restaurant chain and the project has since been "moth balled". Once the restaurant chain opens I'm sure he will resume it, however, at present our company is small...and Shawn has this nack to somehow finding huge clients we barely have the resources to support.

He sometimes makes me wonder if maybe my chances of marrying a rich husband would improve if I did the kinds of he does to get these mega-clients, *cough cough*, like making every event about himself seem like the most interesting story in the world, smoking black and milds, and always having some kind of light colored drink in hands reach (Chai Tea in the morning, Latte in the afternoon, Dos Equis at night)

  4. I'm curious if anyone else here writes for e-zine articles.

I found out about them through a course I was taking and decided to "give them a try". I just submitted my first article for review. I'm on a free account and I'm a brand new author with them.

I'm just curious if anyone else here has done any writing for them, maybe get some perspective and feed back. The thing says it could take up to 72 hours for my article to go live, and it was still waiting to enter the review when I checked it about 5 hours ago, so I can't really link to it yet.

I'm just trying to get a perspective on what the experience/perspective of anyone in any of the online communities I frequent might be.

  5. Um, I noticed your traffic took a nose dive the month before you made this post and you're the only pee site that didn't see the "pee rush" that all the sites got back in March, so I kinda put two and two together and presumed you were asking because you were worried your changes might be the cause.

Your site looks fine, not my personal pick for colors but that shouldn't matter as long as it fits you.

However, while I was looking at it....it broke...

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 524288) (tried to allocate 20 bytes) in /home/sinna/domains/sexysinna.com/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 83

Without being able to see your back-end, and since I can't pull a view source from an error like this, I'm going to take a guess here and speculate....

I think you have an issue with your server not releasing allocated memory until it resets itself, which in turn causes the site to break every so many page views, which in turn is why you've lost your traffic. Not only do visitors get put off, search engines see the site as unreliable and drop your ranking for it. It started working again in the time it took me to type this, you should talk to your ISP or who ever is hosting this thing for you.

Good news is your still listing fine in Google, so chances are it hasn't broke in the middle of a crawl too many times yet.

  6. If anyone has some wordpress expertise, I could use a little advice as well :)

Is there a specific Wordpress related thing you need help with?

I'd be more than happy to be of service.

A good example of a site I have worked on in the past is - http://www.mcogfamily.org/

This organization no longer works with us as a result of their involvement with the dispute between: SEI, MCOG, Armed Forces Deals, and Atlantic Magnolia (2011/2012). So some of the more recent changes have been implemented by another company who now manages the site.

What ever that may say about Shawn's business decisions aside, my technical & design skill is what I want you to look at.

A quick "view source" will show 70% of the code is still built upon our (Shawn's and my own) foundations.

(Roughly 30% of the current site was done by me personally in 2011)

I have over 20+ years computer, web, and IT related experience in the following areas:

    CMS, Dynamic Site Software, etc.,.

    - Wordpress

    - Simple Machines

    - Drupal

    - phpBB

    - and Joomla!

My business partner also works with Magneto., and my company has developed it's own proprietary form of self scaling HTML5.

    Server-Side Langauges

    - php

    - Perl (Strongest Skill Set, know it like writing instructions to a person)

    - Ruby (Very weak on ruby, probably about the same with ruby as you described yourself with Wordpress or weaker)

    - ASP & ASPX

    Databases

    - MySQL

    Servers

    - Apache

    - Microsoft IIS

    Operating Systems

    - Unix

    - Windows

    - Free BSD

    Networking

I am CCNP, Network Engineer currently with Hewlett Packard.

I have also had experience work with REDCOM in the past.

I'm also a co-counder and head of IT/MIS research for Atlantic Magnolia Solutions

(I handle the tech & logistics stuff, Shawn runs around in a suit advertizing - as well as managing this realm I barely understand called investment and accounting)

  7. I absolutely love bound to burst, their fictional stories are a little lacking but their holding contests and other holding challenges are the best.

They did one contest for money though where they became concerned about the girls hurting themselves if they ever did it again.

While I understand their concern, I know for a fact I could have out held their whole crew with flying colors and feel if the girls want to do it it should be up to them.

  8. I believe in ghosts, and know that I have seen them on more than one occasion. I'm a little less certain about my various hypothesis for "how" they exist, but I'm fairly certain that "ghosts" and "spirits" are no exactly the same thing. I don't know why I think this, or where I got the idea from, but for as far back as I can remember I've believed we have somewhere between 5 and 7 bodies, of which our physical body is only one. Of the remaining "bodies" which are non-physical, one remains on earth until it disappates (resulting in "sentient haunting") and another gets reincarnated. Also, I don't think every thing we call a "ghost" is the same thing. There have been incidents of mediums reporting "spirits" or "the presence" of people who had not yet died, but were instead either in a coma, or incarcerated in prison. The coma could be explained in terms of out-of-body experience, but someone in prison is leading a structured life and unlikely to be intentionally projecting themselves. This to me supports an idea I spontaneously started believing and telling people as a child, the idea that a good percentage of the "ghosts" people report are actually "thought forms". Thought forms are similar to spirits, but generally lack full consciousness and are generated by focused intent.
