I have used a plastic backed table cover. The up side does absorb some while the plastic side down stops any soak-thru. I have emptied many times onto a large beach towel this way with nothing escaping!!

I had a wet GF for around 6 years before she had to move with her husband. We often used large plastic backed table cloths. One side is waterproof plastic and the other is a soft cotton type backing. We used this on floors and to cover beds with large beach towels to help avoid 'flowing' off the table cloth.

I love this topic!!! I often have pee dreams because I eat popcorn at night and wind up drinking a lot!!! Even peeing before bed I often fill again and dream that I'm peeing somewhere due to desperation. I've fixed the 'dribble' from these dreams before fully awake by wearing some of my vinyl swim briefs. They wont let any wetness through and protect the sheets. But, if I have one of these dreams and fail to wake soon enough the tight briefs wont hold a lot will fill like a balloon. Then start leaking out the legs and waist band!!!
