How about having a thread to share ideas for stories?

Here's one. I just came across this news article about a ski chair lift having had a technical failure resulting in people being stuck for an hour and a half: http://www.suedostschweiz.ch/panorama/2015-12-30/wintersportler-auf-sessellift-steckengeblieben (in German).

I'm a big skiing fan and I'm definitely going to try to write some ski desp stories this winter (going skiing next month, I'll write some stories then). If my GF has (bad?) luck (?), it might not even be fictional - last year she almost wet herself when skiing! Let me share that one right now in the non-fiction section...
