During my search for scans and on-line replications of these early 1970's magazines, I wasn't aware of the expense, a boyfriend bought them in adult shops on his visits to Europe, notably Amsterdam and Paris. (He had never visited Sweden or Denmark, where pornography of this nature was widely available). 8mm silent films were made alongside the stories in the magazines. Our civilization is caught between two hammers. On the right, the Tories and Bible Thumpers, who want to put a policeman in every bedroom, and on the left a small but very noisy minority faction of the feminist movement, who claim that all sex is rape, and that erotic art is "exploitative" and "demeaning." This is an interesting issue as you will soon see, but first let me tell you how my partner obtained it because it opens up a debate about pornography and the consumption of it.
