Popular Post DoctorDoctor 1,391
I had a couple pints at a bar with workmates for happy hour and decided to walk home. My bladder was fairly full when I left the bar trying not to "break the seal". A broken down freight train across a street crossing partway home delayed my trip. My bladder felt like a painful melon and finally needed relief, so I ducked into a alley and started to piss, but the stream was slower than normal at the beginning. It wasn't until I'd pissed for a good 20 seconds did the stream reach full speed. Then I continued on for another 30-40 seconds making an enormous puddle and pee river. Does anyone else have a slow stream flow when starting after holding a really full bladder for a long time? A lot of people say they "burst" or "gush" after holding, but when my hold is extreme it takes some to really get a strong flow going. Maybe this a guy thing or do women have this too? 2 1 2 Link to post

I definitely have that. I think it's going to be this big rush but then it's like noope...and becomes super frustrating because I just want my bladder to be empty lol. I am a male approaching 50 though, not sure if that also has something to do with it. 1 1 1 Link to post

It really depends on the person. I literally can piss out a heavier stream at the beginning and it eventually slows down to a total stop. 3 2 Link to post
PissDude 479
I’ve heard of something called “truck driver bladder” where you hold too long and lose elasticity of your bladder muscles. 2 Link to post
Bacardi 10,134
I find that my flow is normal/really fast after holding. The only time it's been slower than usual is when I orgasm right before I pee. It gets to the point where I am forcing it out because I lose the need to pee entirely lol. Last week I was ill and severely dehydrated and also found that my flow was abnormally slow too. Guess it just depends on what's going on with my body. 2 1 Link to post
speedy3471 10,655
That happens with me sometimes. When I expect a fire hose flow and it starts off slow then gets to the fire hose stream lol. The next time it's a fire hose from start to finish Iam not a spring chicken anymore either lol 1 1 Link to post

likewetting 247
Ah yeah, when I'm holding for too long, the same thing sometimes happens. With beer though, maybe because the threshold is lower, that doesn't happen that often. 1 1 Link to post
Popular Post Sophie 24,410
I find when I have been holding for a while it might come out stronger for a few seconds and then settle back into my normal stream. One thing I have noticed is that the little dribbles at the end last forever. Just when I think I am done I find a little more, and a little more... I sometimes spend as much time letting out those little dribbles, as I did with my main wee! 2 2 1 1 1 Link to post
on the porch 717
Same , aI think your vent mussels will hold back the full stream , then when relaxed it will open fully, same at the end ,, drip drip drip ,and if I,cough it comes more.Like I'm not finished .. any way It's all good right ? 1 1 Link to post
Popular Post ABBYPEEGODDESS 1,746
My stream flow is always a constant steady and strong no matter what. I believe it’s because my strong bladder muscles but my stream never changes unless I push harder 4 3 Link to post
Wolfpee 329
Happens to me sometimes when I'm really busting sometimes I find it hard to let go and it drips or slow steam for a bit untill it emptyed enough it flows back to normal. Mattew 227
If I have been holding for ages, then evenif I feel that I am going to burst, I just end up dripping for a solid 5 minutes before I manage to let out a small stream that goes on forever at a very pathetic speed. It only becomes faster when I'm not feeling as full anymore. My gf is the exact opposite, she starts gushing an incredible amount of pee, when she is desperate to go. Infact we joke about how the strength of her stream then is probably strong enough to cut glass haha Edited December 18, 2023 by Mattew 1 2 Link to post
Pinguy94 104
I have found this happening especially after holding it for sometime it will more dribble but with the pressure feeling as though I should be really peeing!! Then after a bit it really does, I try not to hold a long time if can 1 Link to post
Overlord 451
Happens to me too. Especially in the morning when I wake up and really need to piss. When I get up and head to the bathroom I'm always anticipating a huge firehose to start spray and pray but it starts slowly and bursts into full power only after a few seconds. I think it's just the muscles that need to relax completely after holding in for so long. 2 1 Link to post
Bladderlad 823
Definetely happens to me when I'm very desperate..I have a video that I took about 12 years ago, when I was beyond desperate..I pissed really slowly for about 20 seconds, and then suddenly it opens into the most massive gush...I also can't empty fully in one go...so I finish including all the spurts etc..think I'm empty, leave it for about 30 seconds and can then measure about 200 more millilitres...that happen to anyone else?? 1 Link to post
AsianGuy 211
It has happened to me too, but I think at least for me, it depends on how soft and pliable my penis happens to be at the time of release. When my penis's soft, my urine stream is really thick and fast flowing. It fans out while exiting the tip, but it's still mangeable. When I'm semi-erect, my pee slit enlarges by quite a bit (gets longer) but it also gets tight so my piss stream really fans out a lot. Can't force it without spraying every where. When erect - forget about pissing and wait til it softens.. Link to post
Alygal1331 571
It can go either way for me and I still have no idea what factors into it. I’ve had a few times where I’ve had to hold it to the point of pain, and when I finally got to go it’s been a relatively slow stream, but also had it gush out majorly. The slow stream feels weird because my bladder muscles are relieved from not having to hold anymore, but I can still feel my bladder full as I’m waiting for it to slowly empty. Also, in a similar vein to some of these comments, the dribbling at the end takes waaaay longer than normal. Sometimes because of how long I held, my bladder muscles are weak afterward and I accidentally let out some pretty big dribbles as I stand up or if I cough. 1 1 2 Link to post
WetMart 1,128
When I’ve been holding on I find my stream is strong and then becomes less so as I pee, the relief of pissing after holding is so good. 1 1 Link to post

Mary Moon 1,980
It's impossible for me to have a slow flow when i'm very full, due to my much smaller than normal bladder. If i go beyond the maximum capacity, the pressure is very strong. Link to post
Bladderlad 823
Just read an account on another site where a guy described real difficulty in peeing when incredibly desperate..he said that it's because of the bladder pressing on the urethra, and as the bladder empties the flow increases...guess that could make sense? anonymous_gm 154
As a man, I noticed that when I'm "normally" desperate (like, after several beers) my pee gushes out but when I'm extremely desperate (especially when holding intentionally) I have to force it out to even start and unless I'm actively pushing my bladder, it only dribbles. 1 1 1 Link to post
Takashi96 1,076
Mine doesn't burst out anymore. After a whole buffet of intersecting health issues an urgent pee can sometimes take forever just to leave my bladder. Then it feels like I'm peeing even before it exits my body. It's not a weak stream necessarily, but it's not powerful either. Edited September 28 by Takashi96 Clarity Link to post
