The real reason why I left peefans

Recommended Posts

When I read the title I was worrying a little that something had happened inside Peefans (which we WOULD have gladly dealt with).

But instead something much more important - YOU.   We are all here for you.  Any time you or anyone else finds themselves feeling alone, down or lonely, the Peefans family are here.  Let's face it, we all have a pretty unique bond and it's a common theme that there's not many in the real world that share.

We're all here for you.   And thank you for being brave enough to discuss it.

Knowing someone you love has cheated on you is devastating - I got through something similar only with the support of some really good, life-long friends.  I'm glad you made it through, and I'm sure you are a stronger and better person for it.  Welcome back.

Thank you, Abby, for sharing your tough time. So sorry you went through this, our hearts are with you.

Sorry if my question in your ‘Ask me anything’ thread was out of line.

Welcome back.

I am sorry Abby! Betrayal is the worst thing in the world, i have been there, twice! Now i rather be alone because either there is an issue with me, or i am really unlucky in love. It is bad, but you learn to live with it, but sometimes it scars you for life, sending all positive vibes your way my dear!

My wife suffered severe depression leading to self harm and a prolonged stay in a specialist establishment, so I am well aware of how serious depression is and how it can affect people.

I am so sorry that your relationship was toxic and that you got very close to suicide, but pleased that you have sought help and found it.  It is times like this that you really know who is willing to stick with you and support you.  Keep positive and cherish every good moment, appreciate those who support you and don’t take notice of those who bring you down.   You have got this.

I too have had my struggles with depression and anxiety.

My ups and downs affect how I react to things and is a major part of the reason I have taken much more of a backseat around here lately.

But @ABBYPEEGODDESS, there are many good people on this forum who will be there for you if you need to talk to anyone. I know I don't know you very well mostly because I don't interact much here anymore, which is part of how I protect myself mental health wise. But I would always come through for anyone suffering an emotional or psychological crisis. You are welcome to message me if it would help anytime.

Welcome back, anyway.
