It can't just be me, but bloody hell - just when I think I'm getting my life organised, something like today happens and reminds me what a liability I am.   Welcome to a day in the life of Chris the plumber.

Of course there's more to me than just being a plumber.  A pretty good pool player, I've been on the local Catholic Club team for a couple of years now. A parent, I've got a son who'll turn 20 this year and his younger sister just doing GCSEs.  They haven't turned out too badly despite being brought up by a single parent.  My divorce was a really shit time, but like every time, I've got my shit together, and that's when I trained and qualified as a plumber.  Not easy for a mum in such a male dominated world - sometimes you just have to put your big girl pants on, two fingers up to those trying to put you down and head up high.

So this is me - Chris, or more usually Chrissy. Sometimes Christine.  Sometimes 'Oi bitch', sometimes 'Mum' but mostly Chrissy.

Anyway, back to today's disaster.  Mondays are never great, I'd overslept, daughter was faffing about and I ended up grabbing my coffee and running her to school, then checking my voicemails,  In plumbing, Monday is the day when all the weekend's panics come in.  Today was no different with a callout to a leaking toilet.

As I rang the doorbell the thought occurred that I'd pretty much been on autopilot so far, not really thinking what I was doing.  But I was soon back in professional mode.  The house owner who it turns out was Isabella opened the apartment door and welcomed me inside.

One of the funny things about working in a trade is it's very easy to get hung up on the difference in class, and easy to feel inferior.  I had exactly one of those moments looking at my client - her permed blonde locks a contrast to my tied back hair, makeup and crimson lips - her not me of course, and then the pinstripe business suit, white blouse and killer heels.  A stark contrast to my cargo pants, sweatshirt and boots.

Anyway, she seemed pleasant enough and soon enough was handing me a large mug of coffee as I looked into a dry toilet bowl - an easy diagnosis, the cracked porcelain gave that away.

Isabella soon excused herself, leaving me a key and giving her apologies that she had to be off to a few client visits.

So I set to work, and it was one of those days when nothing went quite right.  It turned out that not only the toilet bowl, but also the cistern was cracked.  I had a nightmare of a job with the seized stop-cock to turn off the water.  Then had to call at my merchants for the replacement parts.  A quick spur of the moment Starbucks for another large coffee and back on my way.

Typically for a Monday, what should have been an hour job turned into four hours, lots of cursing, swearing and skinned knuckles.  I'd pretty much lost track of time.  The only thing reminding me of the time was suddenly needing a wee.   You know how it is when you've been busy, you've been concentrating and then suddenly realise you're nearly wetting yourself.

Of course on pretty much any other job that wouldn't have been a problem, I'd just have used the loo.  But when there is no toilet installed, it's a different matter entirely.   And of course the more you think of 'toilet' the worse you need a wee.   Can you imagine anything worse than being bent for double, almost lay on top of a toilet with the waistband of tough work pants pressing madly into your bladder.  I swear I went from the first twinge to complete desperation in a couple of moments.  There was very little I could do, other than squeezing my legs together and squirming gently.

And once at that stage of urgency, everything conspires against you.  Dropping washers from my shaking hands and having to crawl around to pick them up.  Fumbling around in my tool box with my left hand clamped pressed hard into my crotch.  And somehow not just that, but every bit of the job seeming to work against me.  The cistern valve being assembled wrongly at the factory and needing me to swap it round, the normal waste seal being faulty too and me having to use a sealant that would take six hours to fully cure.

I was seriously wondering if I was going to make it - not for the first time in my career obviously. If you tell me there's a lady who's never had an accident I'll tell you there's a lady who lies.  Everyone has arrived home with wet pants at one time in their lives haven't they?.  Or left an odd puddle here or there.   And right now those were becoming definite risks.

Somehow though I carried on.  I wasn't really counting the time, I was just willing myself to hold that little bit longer.  Just a few minutes. At least until I could get the water back on.  Maybe then I could wee in a sink or something.   And I very nearly did hold for long enough.  I got to the point where the new toilet had been installed and plumbed and I started packing tools back into my case.  The thing was, by that point, you know that muscle somewhere at the bottom of your bladder.  You know that one that when you're super full is the only way not to pee.  I was literally pulling in that muscle for all I was worth.  That and a hand, or at times two clamped firmly between my thighs.  One on top of the other, with forefingers pressing hard directly into my peehole.

Although the job was mostly finished, the water supply was still off and I hadn't been able to check for any leaks.  And of course the sealant was hours from being cured.  That toilet I was kneeling next to may as well have been on the other side of a locked door.

I weighed up my options, rocking backwards and forwards with beads of sweat on my forehead.  Just to torment me I felt my crotch start to warm with the first leak of what could be many.  Turning the water on and the gushing noises that would produce didn't bear thinking about, there was no way I'd make it to my car downstairs. Even if I did I probably wouldn't get far before wetting in my driving seat.

As I weighed up the options, which were very few at that point, my eyes fell on the child's potty at the other side of the sink.  Not my finest moment as I reached forwards and pulled it towards me.  Another spurt as I carefully unbuttoned my pants with one hand, slowly lowering them, along with my once dry black cotton briefs, one side at a time.   The shame of it, in a client's house where at least I hadn't wet myself but now was about to desecrate a child's potty.

Somehow with barely that dribble or two I managed to get my pants and underwear out of the way, at positioned myself over the potty. Finally my moment of relief was at hand.  All I had to do was gently relax and let my desperate pee start to flow.

That was the plan at that precise moment, suddenly interrupted by the front door being flung open and the sound of heels thundering up the stairs.  I literally froze up in panic.

As the footsteps neared the top of the stairs I heard Isabella call out in a tense sounding voice "Chrissy, are you done in there, please tell me you've finished".

"Erm, can you give me two minutes" I shouted back "I'm just finishing, I just need a minute to, erm, finish off"

"Shit" I heard Isabella mutter, then in my direction "Sorry, no can do....  this boat's already sailing".

I heard the clatter of heels being kicked off and the bathroom door burst open.  I don't think Isabella actually noticed that I was kneeling on the floor, bare thighs and bushy pubic triangle on show.  She was too busy diving into the shower cubicle and trying to yank up her tight pinstriped pencil skirt.

A loud splattering filled the room as Isabella stood with legs apart and a golden flow pooling around her feet for what must have been at least thirty and nearer forty seconds.  The sound was loud enough to cover up the more gentle burble of my own liquid hitting plastic, and then swooshing sound of it squirting into the rapidly filling potty below me.

Isabella suddenly noticed me.  "Oh my God, did you just, you know...." and fortunately didn't manage to finish her question for breaking into giggles.  "Sorry I can't say too much can I, look at the state of me.  At least I didn't ruin my shoes, that's something".

I did turn and look at Isabella, and she was right - she was in a bit of a state.  She pulled her skirt up to reveal the last rivulets of her pee trickling through stockings and above that bare thighs.  Then reaching behind she unzipped the skirt and dropped it to the floor, revealing a very soggy pair of expensive looking briefs.

"Are we nearly ready to use the shower again?" Isabella asked, adding with a wink "You're welcome to freshen up too if you like"

I could write about how amazing this was to read, and how hot I found it and all that, but I don't think that would convey how I really felt... so let me tell you what I did instead.

I had an early night and unfortunately woke up after a couple of hours. So I did what anyone else would do, and went onto my favourite website! I saw this story and just had to read it. (It's amazing by the way!). When I finished I knew I had something to take care of. I pressed the button on the sofa to make it recline, propped my laptop on the arm rest and read the story again as my hand slipped into my shorts. I put myself in each characters shoes, starting with Chrissy, getting desperate in my imagination as I quickly got myself off, and as I reached Isabella coming home I was close to coming too. Continuing the story, in Chrissy the plumber's own words...

 

So, where was I - sorry I got distracted.   Oh yes, I was doing the plumbing job from hell in Isabella's bathroom.  The toilet out of action and I was on the verge of wetting myself until I found a bit of relief in a kid's potty, which is more than Isabella did.  Bursting in and completely wetting herself in the shower.

"Are we nearly ready to use the shower again?" Isabella asked, adding with a wink "You're welcome to freshen up too if you like"

Isabella smiled and reassured me, I couldn't believe she was taking this so well.

Two minutes later the water supply was back on and without a second thought, I walked straight back into the bathroom to collect my tools.  To my horror somehow I hadn't factored in that Isabella was there, or at least that in the minutes I'd been out had been obviously preparing for her shower.  The business skirt and blouse were gone, thrown into the corner, and Isabella was standing in the shower tray, shapely legs enhanced by her hold up stockings, and her now very much two tone satin briefs with lace trim clinging damply to her gentle curves.  At the moment I saw her she was just pulling off her white lacy bra, allowing her near perfect breasts to fall loosely.

Well, I wasn't expecting that as my Friday afternoon reading material!   Fantastic in both parts with shed loads of intimate details and such a very believable situation.  Without a doubt the best story I've read in a while with a lot of imagination and descriptions that have founded quality images in my mind.   I'm kind of hoping that maybe Isabella may well be looking for excuses (or creating excuses) for calling the plumber again in future.
