Pee problem while in the hospital and home after

I thought I would give some of my pee related problems or experience I had while dealing with covid.   The people who have been around awhile know I have some bladder issues with leaking at times. Most of time I’m good except when coughing and sneezing.  Well you can imagine the problems I was having with covid.  I was sick for about a week before I went to the hospital.  Normal pads was holding it ok.  When I got to the hospital I was having a problem with my blood pressure very low, my heart rate was low and I was having problems breathing, and I was very dehydrated .   I had pneumonia.  When I was trying settled in I was having issues of wetting myself.  With the IV they were giving me I was now hydrated, I was drinking more since I really didn’t have anything to do except watch tv and sleep.  With short staffed I had to hold it until a nurse came in to help me out of bed. With my coughing it was hard to hold it until they got there.  Every time I got out of bed my oxygen levels would drop. So they have this interesting little contraption that is supposed to help you with peeing.  It looks like a banana with a spit cut out of it. They put it between your legs and the slit part goes up against your lips. They turn it on and it supposed to hold a suction to suck your pee up a hose going into a cup in the wall.   It wasn’t working well for me the first day.  So the next day they gave me depends.  The doctors weren’t happy with my oxygen levels dropping when I got out of bed so about day 3 I wasn’t allowed out of bed.  A nurse helped me with the banana thing again, apparently they didn’t have the section up high enough the first day.   This time it worked better.  It’s really weird to just lay in bed and pee when ever you wanted.   I had to try and control it so I didn’t pee to much so the Device would catch it all.  So I was in there for about 11 days.  
The first day I got out.  I was really looking forward to a bath since I didn’t have one for 12 days.  When I came home I was on oxygen.  I was very weak had to walk around with a cane so I wouldn’t fall.  My husband was running my bath, I got under dressed and was  waiting for my husband to get out of the bathroom. Our bathroom is very small only one person fits in it at a time.  I was standing on the carpet on the bed room and I just started peeing. I couldnt stop it my bladder was very weak from the coughing and being in bed for 6 days straight.  I moved in to the linoleum part of the floor where we have little small rugs to finish peeing so I didn’t soak the carpet in our bed room.  I knew I would make more of mess trying to make it to the toilet so I just stood there and apologized to my husband for making a messing.  He said it was ok don’t worry about it. And helped me in the bath.  
i thought I would be ok with just pads when I got home.  I was very wrong.  I had another episode where I peed myself in the middle of the night and I didn’t want to wake up my husband to help me clean up.   It wast easy since I was still having problems with my oxygen drop still when I walked around.   My sister was coming to stay with me  while my husband was at work.  She brought me some depends. It took me about 2 months to regain control over my bladder.   I thank god there are products out there to help.

@Sweets - Sending you all our love and positive vibes from the Peefans community.

It's easy to get into a one-track way of thinking over bed wetting or carpet peeing, and think that everyone should be aroused by it.  Of course in situations where it's outside your control like this, where others not into pee are being affected by it of course that's very different.  At least your husband was supportive and you had your sister there to help too.

Hoping this hasn't detracted from your enjoyment of the kink - when the mood suits you and when you're able to play on your terms.   But thanks for sharing with us and huge hugs back at you.

@gldenwetgoose well thank god it wasnt humiliating for me since peeing is normal fun for me.    I didn’t find any of it arousing like I normal would have.  I’m glad I’m comfortable enough with my husband that I wasn’t to embarrassed.   I though I would share my experience. Some my find it arousing or just interesting.   So I don’t mind sharing
