However, I like to see as much as possible, so in voyeur vids and the like, where the peeing person still wears bottom clothing and uses his hand to hold his dick, I strongly prefer hard, because more of it gets exposed.

For self-recorded vids it's irrelevant, as long as you're putting on a good show.

Yep.

Much easier to navigate the stream when erect.

When it's flaccid, it's like trying to thread a needle with an out of control hose.
