Part 27

The paninis arrived. The waitress splashed in a puddle by mum's chair but did not acknowledge it.

I went back to the waiting area and told Erica. "It is your turn, Doctor Phelps, room 2-53 down that corridor." I added in a whisper. "It is the room with a wet chair."

I sat alone in the waiting area and waited for Erica. It seemed that Erica had longer than me, but it was probably just a perception. I did not time her.
